RP Home Inspection

We went with the inspectors based on good reviewsWhen we met him at the house, I became more comfortable with him since I remembered him through other means He seemed very knowledgeable and then he made a comment to me and said I usually charge a hundred dollars more than what I gave youI asked him if I needed to pay more and he said noAs I was writing my check, he had other checks out on the counter that were made out for $less than we were paying that had home inspection written in the memoI decided not to pick that fight and wrote the checkA couple of days after moving in to our house, our basement floor became wetCome to find out and thousand of dollars later, there was a pump that never worked and needed to be replacedThen our skylight was not sealed properly and we had to redo the bathroomNow that we are in the summer months, we need to run our swamp cooler (which was inspected as well) started leaking in our daughters bedroomAfter my husbands inpection in the crawl space there was a pan that was obviosly used for a previous leak prior to us owning the propertyHow did he miss that? Not sure on our cost for that yet since my husband is out shopping as I write to make that repairVery frustrating!!!
