/aggressive salesman that would not leave property after being repeatedly asked. would not identify himself or the company.***
This occurred on the afternoon of Sept. 6th, 2018.
*** and aggressive sales tactics. Salesman refused to identify himself or the company that he worked for. Refused to leave the property after being told multiple times that we are not interested in the services and to leave (continued to ring doorbell and knock on door after being told multiple times to leave, even after I stepped outside the house).

Managed to get company information and the salesman's name from a second salesperson who came by a couple of hours later who provided me with the relevant information and company card (2 salesmen in the span of a few hours when it was clear we aren't interested is a separate issue).

We frequently get local companies coming by to offer services with no problems, but never have I experienced this degree of harassment. *** legitimately was concerned for our safety as this individual would not leave our property, and repeatedly ignored any request to identify who he was and who he worked for.

If an individual like this refuses to leave the property after being asked by the homeowner or a resident of the household, what are we supposed to do? how are we supposed to protect ourselves from this type of harassment?

This individual was acting this way towards myself, an adult male, and I can't even begin to imagine how he must treat the elderly or someone who maybe isn't able to make an informed decision for whatever reason. The way the salespeople of this business carry themselves should be considered criminal.

Information of the sales rep which was given to me by the second sales rep who came by named *** (who was very pleasant and quick to answer any questions I had):

*** (and I was also told this individual is the manager, which makes this entire ordeal even more concerning)

I hesitated to even submit this complaint as this individual obviously knows where we live and we did have concerns for our safety, but the level of harassment that was displayed can't go unaddressed, and something needs to be done.

We had received the same feedback via *** and we reached out to the gentleman to get more details regarding the visit by the rep to confirm he was part of our team. He did not respond. He has added the rep name on his feedback to the Revdex.com. We will address the encounter with the rep and get his side of the story.
We are a young company offering a simple service. It requires little sales as it's a simple yes I would like my widows cleaned or no. All of our reps are trained to Be polite and courteous and we would never jeopardize our companies reputation by condoning or training this behaviour.
We will provide the address to our teams and ask that they do their best not to return to the address.
We will review *** presentation and insure he is professional at all times. If not we will no longer work with him. Sincerely. Rpm.

Today, Sept. 14, 2018. I had another individual from your company knock on my door asking if I was interested in window cleaning services. When you say you will do your best to ensure that your workers do not return to the property, what exactly does that entail? Less than a week after your response and I've already had someone come to the door.

I apologize for the mix up in having someone in that neighborhood again. ***. Would you like me to post your address in my office so that my teams can see which address not to go to?
Please feel free to call me at *** to discuss directly or simply confirm if this is OK.
I did not want to share the address with the entire team, but only my team leads so they avoided that area. One team lead had been away for 3 weeks and mistakenly knocked the address. I will post the address and avoid this individual.

I would like to make a point regarding our company. We are not aggressive in anyway and no has ever felt threatened by our prescience. My team has gotten countless positive feedbacks which we are very proud. Our sales practices/training is impeccable. We do everything in our power to put the customer first. We take great pride in growing our own business in our home town. We are not aggressive or predatory in any way. Based on the individuals feedback our rep displayed unacceptable behavior. We have addressed and the rep has been dealt with and reprimanded. We have taken the customers feedback seriously and addressed. RPM is going above and beyond to insure we provide a happy customer experience from our sales and our service in every case. We hope this is acceptable. Sincerely, RPM Team

The crews preparation work leading up to the application was excellent with careful attention to detail. Following the surface application it was obvious this company's workers took pride in their job and the end result showed.
