RPM Presents

It was Halloween night, and I had bought a ticket with my friend for a show hosted by rpm presents. When I got to the door I got in fine, at first but my friend was told that his ticket would not scan so I stepped back to ensure that he got in as well, we did buy our tickets together after all. The security guard wouldn't here it or try to work with us at all, he then told me since I stepped out I would have to pay him 100$ cash to get back in. After demanding to speak to a manager and after him refusing multiple times, he got angry and grabbed me by my collar and dragged me to the sidewalk, said I'm done and I was not allowed back in. It was after that that I had to leave with both of my 65 dollar tickets being a complete waste. I contacted the ticketing agent for a refund and was denied. This experience was a total waste of money and time.

Review: My son purchased a ticket to a concert in Dec. for which RPM was the promoter. On the ticket it stated that ID May be Required. It did not unequivically state that ID WOULD BE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION OR NO ADMISSION WITHOUT ID. Not wanting to lose his ID, my son simply took a copy of the ID with him. After spending $85 on the ticket (Christmas present) he was denied admission to the concert. I contacted the ticket sales agency which after speaking wth RMP denied our request for a refund despite verifying that the ticked had not been used. These concerts are big events with a huge turnout. If the promoter required ID for admission it should have been clearly stated. Stating that it "may" be required is misleading.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the cost of the ticket $75 refunded to the Visa card used. The handling fee is of no consequence.
