Joshua E [redacted]’s 2013 Ford Mustang was delivered to me in March of 2013. At that time no payment was made, I explained to Mr [redacted] that I would store the vehicle for him but until money was paid for parts no...

work would commence. On May 1st I received the 1st payment from Mr [redacted] in the amount of $750 for parts that he requested. After that the only reason that the vehicle was not worked on was because of Mr [redacted]’s lack of funds. He started sending emails months later promising payments via different payment methods.
The emails were repetitive and all resulted in him having personal issues as well as financial issues, still no payment was made, only promised. Once I finally received payment late 2014 the vehicle was worked on and completed. Mr [redacted]’s questions regarding costs were always addressed in a promptly manner, and yet he would continue to ask the same questions using different verbiage. Everything that was requested by him and everything that was charged for was delivered. Mr [redacted] personally came to pick up his vehicle and when he left it was fully inspected by RPM speed center, in his presence while he witnessed the full inspection.
Noting that Mr [redacted] requested or paid for was missing and the vehicle was in perfect drive-able conditions. Mr Maritnez drove it locally around town, took a trip to San Diego CA, came back to Stockton CA (roughly 950 miles) where we inspected it again before he left back to NC, it was running great. Mr [redacted] would not have taken his vehicle at that time all the way across country had there been any problems or parts missing. In regards to his several attempts to pick up his vehicle where he claims to have flown from NC TO CA, those trips were irrelevant to the situation. Mr [redacted] never paid the money needed to where he would feel his vehicle would be ready, nor did I leave him with that impression.
If Mr [redacted] came to CA it was for personal reasons, not to pick up a finished project. I do have all part numbers and copies of emails between Mr [redacted] and I as my supporting documentation that I may supply available upon request. Thank you. Best Regards, [redacted]

Review: I TOOK MY CAR TO RPM SPEED CENTER ON MARCH OF 2013 TO GET A COUPLE THINGS FIXED WITH IT. I WAS TOLD THE WORK WOULDNT TAKE MORE THEN A COUPLE WEEKS. I FLY HOME TO CA IN DEC OF 2013 TO GET MY CAR SENSE IM STATIONED IN NC. THE CAR WAS NOT DONE, IT WASNT EVEN STARTED ON DO TO THE FACT THAT HE HAD MOVED SHOPS I UNDERSTOOD THAT AND SAID THATS OK. IM DEPLOYING IN A MONTH I DIDNT NEED MY CAR, SO WE TALKED ABOUT MORE WORK TO BE DONE AND I ASKED IF IT WOULD BE DONE WHEN I GOT HOME.I WAS TOLD YES. OVER MY DEPLOTMENT WE TALK ABOUT THE CAR OVER THE PHONE AND IN EMAILS ABOUT WHAT WAS BEING DONE. WE TALK ABOUT GETTING A NEW DRIVESHAFT, WATER METHANOL, FUEL PUMP, SPARK PLUGS, HEADERS, AND MOVING THE TURBO. I PAYED FOR THAT. I NEVER RECIVED AN INVOCE FOR THE WORK EVEN AFTER I ASKED FOR ONE MORE THEN ONE TIME. I WENT TO CA ON NOV. 2014 TO GET MY CAR AND IT WAS NOT DONE. CAUSE I DIDNT PAY HIM AS THE WORK WAS BEING DONE INSTEAD OF PAYING AFTER THE WORK WAS FINISHED. I STAYED BACK HOME FOR 3 WEEKS AND IT STILL DIDNT GET FINISH SO I HAD TO BUY A PLANE TICKET TO NC.I THEN TALKED TO HIM AND ASKED IF IT WOULD BE DONE IN A MONTH THAT I COULD FLY BACK TO CA TO PICK MY CAR UP. HE TOLD ME YES. I GOT A PLANE TICKET TO FLY BACK TO CA IN DEC 2014 TO GET MAY CAR, AGAIN IT WAS STILL NOT DONE. DUE TO HIS DYNO GOING DOWN, I UNDERSTOOD THAT AND HE DID GET ME A TICKET BACK TO NC, AND TOLD ME HE WOULD SHIP MY CAR TO ME IN NC FROM CA. THE CAR WAS FINISHED IN JAN.2015.I WAITED FROM JAN-FEB FOR MY CAR TO BE SHIPPED IT NEVER GOT SHIPPED. SO I HAD TO FLY BACK TO CA IN MARCH 2015 TO GET MY CAR. I HAD MY CAR FOR A WEEK AND I HAD TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP IN NC ON MARCH 28 2015 TO GET AN EXHAUST LEAK FIXED THAT HE SAID HE FIXED.I HAD TO TAKE THE CAR BACK TO THE SHOP IN APRIL 13 2015 FOR DIAGNOSTIC CAUSE THE CAR WAS STILL NOT RUNNING RIGHT, THEN TO A SHOP APRIL 23 2015 TO CHECK ALL THE PARTS I PAYED FOR STATED ABOVE. I ONLY RECIVED THE WATER METHANOL KIT, DRIVESHAFT, AND MOVEMENT OF MY TURBO.Desired Settlement: ID LIKE TO GET BACK 5000.00 CAUSE I DIDNT RECIVE PARTS I PAYED FOR AND THE LABOR I WAS CHAGRED FOR TO PUT THEM IN. IM NOT ASKING FOR IT ALL BACK CAUSE I UNDERSTAND HE DID DO WORK ON THE CAR AND SHOULD GET PAYED FOR THAT, BUT I HAD TO FLY FROM NC TO CA 4 TIMES AND TAKE THE CAR TO 2 DIFFERNT SHOPS TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR AND WHY I WASNT GETTING WHAT I PAYED FOR.
