Review: We ordered candles from this company for our daughter's wedding. Tragically, our daughter was killed in an automobile accident on Sept 3, 2013. Her wedding was to be on Oct. 12, 2013. I contacted R.R. Lumin via email and explained that I would like to cancel the order under the circumstances. They assured me that would be no problem, and that they would refund us the money on this order. My first e-mail to them was on Sept. 18, 2013, and as of today Oct. 23, 2013, I have still not received my refund. I have tried contacting this company numerous times and the last email I got from them was on Oct 5th. We would like to put this behind us, as we are trying to deal with the death of our daughter, and do not need to be scammed.Desired Settlement: We would like our refund as promised. The amount we paid was $218.00. We placed this order on 08/30/13.
Review: I submitted a complaint months ago for the R.R.. Lumin company. It is ran by Robin Vabolis, the address is 478 Dogwood Road, Candler, NC 28715. Phone number is 1-828-989-8020. We placed an order for our daughter’s wedding last Aug. 30th. Our daughter was killed in an auto accident on Sept. 3, 2013. I contacted Robin Vabolis and told her what had happened and wanted to cancel our order. She assured us that we would be refunded our money. To this day we have not received our refund or the items that we ordered, I actually talked to her on the phone two weeks ago, and she stated that she would check with accts. payable and issue a check. No check has arrived and all phone calls made to the company goes to the answering machine and all e-mails have been un-replied to. We know we are getting scammed, and it is unbelievable to us that someone could be so cold-hearted. We have lost our precious daughter, and have to live every day without her, and this Robin has taken full advantage of us. I hope that something can be done to stop this from happening to other innocent people.Desired Settlement: We would like our refund as promised. The amount we paid was $218.00.
