There are a few things that may have been unclear on one side or the other but we drew up a contract the home owner agreed and gave us a down payment and he said wait till Monday to deposit so we did and we put then in the schedule for the job to startThere was two trees to cut down approximately feet tall and one was taller we cut the two trees down and cut both trees into nice neat piles because they wanted to use that wood for fireThe homeowner asked to see our insurance so I contacted our agent and he informed me of an issue but easily resolved anyway we were working on getting those docs to the homeowner by 6pm my agent called the homeowner to let them know we were working on then and not to worry well a short time after the homeowner sent an email stating the he was canceling and to not have anybody show up to start any work From the time the homeowner gave us the check to the time we cut down the trees was at least two weeks And there was lots of communication in between So the reason the deposit is not refuenable is commission's were paid out after the three day Grace period we had to pay two guys to cut those trees down plus we had already bought materials for the job I am stillWilling to work with the homeowner if willing

I'm sorry maybe I should clarify when we buy materials for a job we don't buy them the day we start we buy them before we start, there is lumber for the framing, nails, road base, gasoline, diesel, saw blades, and many other things that are involved in the job besides just concrete and we order our extra labor hands that we need we tell them to be there at a certain day if we don't work that day we still have to pay them because we ordered them I apologize for not being clear but we have a deposit for these items so we can be ready to start the day we plan to startBut I don't like to see unhappy customers so I'm willing to refund $

Issue has been resolved with mutual agreement in replacement of bad areas on driveway with a good sealer applied to entire surface areaJob completed 5/5/

I am rejecting this response because I am 100% confident that R&R Solutions did not spend any of my deposit towards this job and I am willing to pursue this matter in courtI am not going to accept a $1,settlement when there was no fully executed contract and they carried no General Liability insurance as they had stated. I expect R&R Solutions to return at least $2,800.00 of my deposit before I will settle this dispute.

Have ensured the homeowners that the concrete would not fail we put extra seal along the edge of the garage to protect and give extra insurance all of our work is warrantied for one year and yes I did agreed to an extended warranty which I told them I would sign gladly but they would not accept that...

and would only take notarize papers. The concrete has not failed and there are no issues that I know of everything looks beautiful and there has not been any water going into the basement to my knowledge I understand they may not feel confident about the work but we ARE professionals if they want the paper notarized I will gladly do it.

The homeowners did purchase the concrete around the time they say and there were no issues prior to any snow storms according to the homeowner and he did also state that he would wash off his truck in the driveway after driving in the snow. 2 indications the the damage was more likely to be from the...

mag chloride or whatever chemicals they use on our city streets. Also it is stated very clear on the back of the contract that Spalling is only warrantied for 3 months and it is advised to seal all you concrete and at minimum at least the driveway.  I have been communicating with the homeowner I recently sent them an email. And I did let the homeowner know that I was willing to help resolve this problem. There are a couple solutions for this problem . I want to get the concrete tested so I'm trying to get someone from the plant to do that and then we can move forward with a real understanding of what happened to the concrete. So waiting on that. I did also call 3-16-16 to relay that same information.  Thank you
