I reserved a beach vacation rental and signed an agreement in November of 2019 for the rental of a beach property called the Reunion House located at *** Fl XXXXX for May 9 2020 to May 16, 2020. The vacation was cancelled due to the Governor of Florida's executive orders against vacation rentals and travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 crisis. The contract states that If, as a result of a law, ordinance or other rule or regulation applicable to the Property, the Property is no longer available to rent to the general public; then Manager may attempt to find an equivalent property to substitute in place of the property, at the sole discretion of the manager. If no replacement can be found, or Manager elects not to attempt to locate an equivalent property. Manager shall return all deposits and payments made by Guest to the Guest, and this agreement shall become null and void. After several e-mail communications with the owners *** and *** they refuse to issue a refund and are offering only to reschedule our stay in the year 2021 or 2022 which we find unreasonable. The contract does not mention any type of rescheduling of the dates in the terms of the agreement. As a customer I have held up all requirements of the agreement by making payments ahead of schedule. Since RRW Investments cannot meet their terms of the contract I have requested a refund with no prevail.
