Please see the attached photos the work area was no where near where the alleged damage took place the break is on the other side of the wall near the grass and all our work was in the driveway this has been explained to the owner yet he keeps trying to get something for nothing It is sad that people try and get a contractor to do work etc that they did not damage I demand this ridiculous complaint be removed from my account

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I'm not sure what this response was to because nowhere in the complaint was there anything about the removal of the oil tank, or lack thereof Our complaint was that this investigation was not required in the first place We were forced to do so because Steve-Rich's initial "investigation" found a 550-gallon tank They claim to have used equipment to find it, then tested the sound with a hammer and found it to be an oil tank As I mentioned, this turned out to be a rock We already wasted $because of their erroneous reporting, plus we were forced to delay our closing.Again, I was convinced to let this go until we got a bill for another $ Steve-Rich needs to be investigated for their business practice of finding metal anomalies in order to extract more money for digging when in fact, there was never any metal anomaly

this is the first we were told about the asphalt patch sinking. we have no issue going back and repairing as we guarantee every part of our work. that is not an issue and the driveway repair will always be done at our cost.yes, we decided to do earlier and if it held up great, it is sinking as most do and we have no issue again backing this up and it will be repaired again properly at our cost. in regards to the wall, again, this is not our issue. as for the response's about damage, yes, we are bringing a large excavator onto properties to remove oil tanks. we have removed over 20,tanks in NJ and of course, there are a few complaints that there lawns etc are damaged. this is in our contract as we are not responsible for access and egress. if a customer does have concerns prior, we make arrangements to protect everything, but of course it also needs to compensated for depenting o n the level. sadly, a few out of 20,dont listen, read the contract or understand how the work is being completed. again, like this customer, they also claim that we damage something far away from the work area. So, to date, 19,happy customers and few that just dont understand or want to understand

Please see the attached report regarding the investigation We were hired to do an investigation for the presence of an
underground oil tank SREC did find an anomaly which was giving
positive readings with the equipment (please see disclaimer). After discussing this with
the client, we specifically did
not give a proposal for the removal of an oil tank Our
proposal (signed by client) is specifically for an anomaly and not for a tank
removal No where does it state that we were hired to dig and remediate
an oil tank as *** *** statesOur proposal is clearly to perform and investigate for an
unknown anomaly. This is what we did. That again is why we state, “it is important to realize that
interference from and not limited to steel, reinforcing rods, buried utilities
could impair equipment and the accuracy of." Not only is this our disclaimer, its written on all
underground or subsurface investigation companies This info comes
off the literature from the company that manufactures the equipment.
The client signed to have the investigation completed along
with the saw cutting as per her request at the time we put the proposal
together

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The damage is done in the driveway where their work vehicles are entering and exiting. In addition to the work done to the Brix at the end of the driveway there are scratches along the pavement done by the trucks and in addition to that the concrete slab that they put over the area where they remove the oil tank is now sinking into the ground. We were advised when they were doing the work to remove the oil tank that they would wait 3 weeks to come and blacktop the area that was cut out. They were back within days to do the concrete work therefore there is sinking into the ground. The owner of this business has ignored all our calls and all of our emails. We are therefore taking this matter to legal counsel. The house is going to be closed on February 17th and the new owners will then enter the premises. This business went and cashed are down payment for this work the same day and then demanded that the balance be paid in full prior to the work being completed. That check was also also cashed on the same day. Upon further review of this business on various sites on the internet, this business has a bad reputation of poor customer service. They also have a reputation of doing damage to property and ignoring the complaints. We the homeowner demand that this matter be rectified immediately.
