Review: First I paid this store $85.00 to unlock my cellphone in order to use it with my existing sim card. They failed to unlock the phone properly after keeping it for several weeks. They continued to ask me to return to the store, making me wait over an hour each visit. In the end they said that they were unable to unlock the phone, and refused to give me a refund. They then promised that if I let them unlock the phone with another method and gave them an additional fee, in order to connect the phone with Tmobile it would definitely work. Therefore I paid them to provide me with a working sim card, start a prepaid plan with tmobile, and to transfer my phone number from boost mobile over to the new tmobile account. I paid a total of $201.00 But, once again they failed to properly unlock my cellphone. Due to their failure to unlock my phone, I was not able to use the services that I paid for during that month, which means that the sim card was useless and the month I paid for tmobile service also went to waste. They also failed to transfer my phone number from boost mobile to tmobile. When I returned to the store she told me to call tmobile and resolve the issue myself. Tmobile was not able to help me because the phone wasn't properly unlocked. I asked for a refund again, they continued to ask me to return to the store to have my phone worked on once more. I returned several times and waited over an hour per visit again. After wasting hours of my time, the [redacted] said she couldn't do anything about my situation. I asked the [redacted] for a refund and she refused. She said it wasn't her problem that my phone wasn't working as she promised, and that she won't give me any money back. She ignored me as I asked why I couldn't get a refund and was very rude. She asked me to leave the store and didn't offer any explanation as to why she wouldn't give me a refund after failing to provide me with what I paid for. She also mocked me as I showed her my receipt indicating what I had paid for and did not receive.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a total refund of $201.00 due to the fact that my cellphone was not properly unlocked, which resulted in me not being able to use the sim card and monthly prepaid deposit that I paid for. In addition, my phone number was never transferred from boost mobile to tmobile.

Review: My complaint is, when I went the first time on 07/**/2014; I went to pay my T-Mobile bill/ monthly payment plan which was $60.00. On this date , an employee at R.S.B.Y Cell Inc., advised that if I added and additional $1.00 he would change my monthly payment plan from $60.00 to $50.00. On 7/**/2014 I paid $51.00 in cash but I no longer have the receipt of this transaction. On that same date I also paid a deposit of $40.00 to repair the cracked screen on my Samsung S3. At the time that paid the original deposit of $40.00 I was advised that the total cost of this repair would be no more than $70.00. I have a receipt which states this. The receipt clearly shows that the balance due for the repair is $30.00. On 09/**/2014, I returned to R.S.B.Y. Cell Inc. to pay the balance of the $30.00 and to bring in the phone for repair as I had to purchase a new phone due to the fact that when I made my original plan payment on 07/**/2014 in the amount of $51.00, this establishment took out the sim card and exchanged it from a T-Mobile to a GO SMART sim card without my knowledge and consent. I finally returned on 09/**/2014 to pay the balance of $30.00 on the repair and leave the phone and was advised at that time that it was now going to cost $100.00 total to repair the cracked screen. I showed them the original receipt which shows that the cost was $70.00, the deposit of $40.00 and the balance due of $30.00. They will not repair the phone unless I pay an additional $60.00 and they will not refund my original deposit of $40.00 on 07/**/2014.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my cash refund of $40.00 returned to me so that I can have the phone repaired elsewhere. I do not want a store credit as this establishment has many complaints, including complaints to the Department of Consumer Affairs and I no longer trust that they will repair my phone to my satisfaction. Also, I would like to state that R.S.B.Y Cell Inc. took out the sim card on 07/**/2014 and replaced it with a GO SMART sim card without my knowledge and consent which then deactivated my T-Mobile cell phone #[redacted]. Because of this; I then had to purchase a new phone with a new phone number at a great inconvenience since I only have a cell phone and use this phone heavily in my work as a Home Attendant with Partners In Care.

Review: I gave the employee $40 for the 2gb data, phone and text plan. He took my phone from my sight and, as I found later, he switched my sim card for a blank one. First he gave me my phone stating the service would be on in ten minutes. I waited an hour and I still had no service. I checked the SIM card and found it was replaced with a blank one. I went back to the store and told him to give me back my own SIM card. He did so. I asked about the service and he told me it would take five hours.

I went to another provider and had them look up the status of my payment. He told me a payment was made and then revoked.

I went back to the store three times and each time was told I could not get my money back and the service would take time. I went to the police precinct and they told me to call [redacted]. I did so, and waited an hour for them to show up to tell me they could not help me.Desired Settlement: I want the $40 I paid for phone service that was not provided. I was told by the police that this is a regular thing for them, that they are called often to this particular service provider. Therefore their license should be revoked.
