I reached out to the homeowner - this was’t a typical project under contract being that it is a home we purchased and renovated and then sold to the new owner There was some confusion on my part where my responsibility began and ended on issues that came up after the sale was completed/inspection period was over My response (similar to what I wrote to her in an email) I have reached out the homeowner via voice mail and email and suggested we meet at the home to discuss her concerns We purchased this home out of foreclosure and have no history of past issues with gutters or with plumbing that has been covered up (not our doing) I have offered to look at the issue with the basement window that was filled in and to have my plumber address issue with her shower All plumbing was done with licensed subs and was inspected and approved by the city of Portland Thanks, Bob W [redacted] RSW Building CCB# [redacted]

In response to the homeowners 2nd letter - her additional concern with the sewer line was addressed at closing We confirmed with the city of Portland our process of jetting the line into the street They confirmed that this was standard procedure and looked at our sewer scope and confirmed that what we did was adequate
Thanks,
Bob W***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: We understand that this was a flip house for youBut bought the house that you and your crew flipped in the wrong wayYes you LVM on my cell phone and I emailed you days later to meet up at noon on 10/27/and still no responsePrior to that we had contacted you multi times and also to your realtorEvery time we tried to contact you re: the issues that any new home owner should not have to deal with, we where shut down by both of you only 2-weeks after closing I didn't need for you to look at all the issues months after the factWe already hired a company and crew that fixed every thing to code and the right waySo after thousands of dollars that we cant afford ,we where lucky that they had a heart to still do the work for us cause it was the right thing do and we will figure it out later how to pay them backJust like the three times that we called you to fix the sewer line that was clogged prior to closing after we paid to be scopedThen you proceeded to just run a hose with running water to try to clean the pipes thinking that we not going to pay again to have it scoped again2nd time again you used a hose to proceed to pushed the rocks now into the city lines, and again we paid to be scoped again and it was worse so we called the City Of Portland and they came out days after to clean the messThese are the little things that we had found we have pictures and document of all the issues we found with the home that should have never happenedThis was our first home we saved for three years to buy our home and now we are tapped out and had to pay a house payment and pay for a room to stay during all the fixing This has been the most offal thing we have ever been through with our kidsWe have nothing more to say at this time other then you know what you did and didn't Sincerely,*** ***

My response (similar to what I wrote to her in an email)

I have reached out the homeowner via voice mail and email and suggested we meet at the home to discuss her concerns.  We purchased this home out of foreclosure and have no history of past issues with gutters or with plumbing that has been covered up (not our doing).  I have offered to look at the issue with the basement window that was filled in and to have my plumber address issue with her shower.  All plumbing was done with licensed subs and was inspected and approved by the city of Portland.
