Went to look at a used camper sold "as is". We were not told that the camper was not checked over by the dealership. We were only told that the camper was being sold at a discounted price because the owner wanted it gone quickly. Once we had the camper home and started to remodel it we noticed that the carpet in the bunk house and the carpet in front of the slide was removed. We also found the drain was detached and a piece of trim on the outer bathroom wall at the bottom was removed revealing water damage. We ended up finding mold in the ceiling, the walls and black mold in the floor. I believed they tried to fix and then cover up the water damage and sell it cheap so they would not have to deal with it. When I called I was told to bad by the service manager Jake. It was then revealed that they apparently never set foot in the camper. He was very rude and hung up on my wife twice. He would not let her speak to anyone above him. Black mold is extremely dangerous and my family and I were put in danger because of the negligence of this dealership. They didn't explain how they do their "as is" to us and failed to disclose any problems they clearly found with this camper. At my place of work when we sell cars "as is" we have looked them over and attached a list of problems with it so the customer is fully aware before buying.

Refund We want our money back in full and to have this health hazard of a camper taken off our property.
On occasion we offer trade ins at deeply discounted pricing. All paperwork defines the terms of the sale. The terms are understood from start to finish! This was the case with this sale. The buyer took advantage of our "AS IS, AS SHOWN" offering, fully understanding the terms of the sale. Nothing had been or was going to be done to this "AS IS" travel trailer offering.
Over 30 days after this buyer took this travel trailer home, we received a call demanding a full refund on their "AS IS, AS SHOWN" purchase. This expectation is totally unreasonable and can not be met. This "AS IS, AS SHOWN" sale is final.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will state again, I was not told of Rte. 125 R.V and Marine's "as is" process. If I had know I would not have bought the camper. "As shown" is not a statement on any of the documents I signed. I signed an "as is" document stating that it had unknown problems which was a false statement. The dealership had full knowledge of the water damage and tried to cover it up. Which will be proven by contacting the previous owners, which I am in the process of receiving. This would make the document invalid and would mean the dealership committed fraud. My family and I had been in and out of that camper remodeling it being exposed to this hidden black mold for a month. If someone died from this would that have gotten the attention of people. No where in any of the documents I signed mention anything about a 30 day cap for returns or refunds. The mold would not have been discovered as soon as it did if I did not start doing a remodel in it. My family was put in serious danger from the complete negligence of this dealership. Any decent dealership with any morals should have offered anything to help us but they did not. This camper was not a luxury item for us but it was going to be our home while we did a move. It was going to be a way for us to save money for a dream and better life for our kids. We have lost money we had been saving for awhile to a dealership that just took advantage of us.
We have explained our position on this "AS IS, AS SEEN, AS SHOWN, below wholesale purchase. All supporting documents required for an "AS IS" sale are signed and in place. The documents include: *State of N.H. Notice of Unsafe Vehicle Form, *Dealer Warranty AS IS Disclaimer Form, and a formal *Invoice/Bill of Sale that reads, "AS IS, AS SEEN, AS SHOWN". The terms of the sale could not have been any more clear.
