Review: On 5/4/15 RTS worked on Diagnosing a problem with my vehicle where the car would loose functionality of the gas petal. They determined that the gas tank was faulty and needed to be replaced. On 5/11/15 my daughter picked up the vehicle and did not get more than 2 blocks away where she encountered the same problem. RTS picked up the vehicle to inspect. Owner Craig could not understand why this was happening. On 5/18/15 Craig indicated that he had to fire the "Russian Mechanic" that worked on my vehicle. He said he not only screwed up my car but several other customers. He assured me not to worry that he was going go through the vehicle and fix all the issues created by this mechanic. During his inspection Craig could not get the tank to fill more than 1/2 way. He said he got a defective tank and needed to get a new one. On 5/28/15 I was told the car was ready and can be picked up. Later that same day my daughter broke down again with the same problem. RTS retuned the vehicle to the shop. At this time I expressed to Craig that it was time for me to take the car to [redacted] to get this corrected. Craig wanted to go over the car again. Later that week Craig again indicated that the his fired mechanic had damaged the fuel neck and it needed to be repaired. On June 8th Craig asked me to test drive the vehicle overnight. He said he could not get the car to fill more than 1/2 way. He told me not to add gas and disregard the engine light. I returned the vehicle to him the next evening. He hooked the car to review errors and we both went for a test drive and to the gas station to fill the tank. While filling up Craig removed the back seat to see what was happening with the tank. He suddenly yelled to the attendant to stop filling. He was holding his hand on a vent line and said if he let it go it would spill out on the car. The vehicle only took 1/2 a tank again. He somehow was able to get the line to relieve the pressure. At that time I expressed to Craig that I was taking the carDesired Settlement: [redacted]. Craig said he did not know what the issue was and was willing to give me back all my money. [redacted] charged me over $1400 to repair issues related to the tank. The original condition still existed and [redacted] determined it was something else. Therefore the suggested fix of putting in a new tank was not warranted. I am looking for a refund of the $1400 to repair the tank that did not need to be replaced and the $1600 paid to him for that repair. Total is $3000 plus any court fees associated.

Review: On 6/25/15 at 9:37pm I dropped my car off at RTS/ARC Automotive, LLC. I was bringing the car back for a second time so that they could investigate the reason why the repairs to the convertible top that they had outsourced did not resolve the issue for which I had engaged their services and paid $1,488.47. They had the car in their possession until 7/8/15 at 10:05am. They were not able to satisfactorily repair the issue however and I ended up taking the car directly to the shop to whom they had originally outsourced the work for the needed repair. However, the reason for my complaint is that while RTS/ARC had the car in their possession someone drove the car a total of 37.8 miles and caused damage to the front end of my vehicle. When confronted, the owner could not explain the mileage or the damage but agreed to pay to get the car fixed. They wanted me to bring the car to a body shop they work with, but that was not convenient for me and not being familiar with that shop, I could not accept RTS/ARC's recommendation. I obtained independent estimates from two reputable repair shops and on 8/18/15 sent the estimates via certified mail to the owners of RTS/ARC with a letter requesting payment within two weeks for the lesser of the two estimates- $622.85. I have not yet received reimbursement for the damages nor has anyone from RTS/ARC responded to my request.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive payment in the amount of $622.85 for the repair of the damages to my vehicle that occurred while in their possession.
