RT's Automotive Performance, Inc.

In July of 2016 I took my Chevy S10 to RT'S Automotive to have the lower intake manifold gasket replaced. They did the job and two days after I picked my vehicle up, I spun a crank bearing while driving down the highway, ruining my engine. When I contacted the mechanic at RT'S who serviced my vehicle, Jeremy T[redacted], he denied any wrongdoing and tried blaming the engine failure on me, saying that I had to have been driving the vehicle while it was overheating and that is the reason the bearing spun. Upon further investigation, reviewing my work invoice and talking with another mechanic, I discovered that the real reason my engine failed was because Mr. T[redacted] neglected the crucial last step of changing my oil after he replaced the intake gasket, meaning he sent me out the door with 2 quarts of antifreeze contaminating my engine oil. My experience with this shop has left me with the opinion that they are a very dishonest business that lacks the integrity to even admit their mistakes, let alone correct them. I would advise anyone who wants to keep their vehicle running to avoid this garage.
