completing the sale to [redacted], I performed an inspection of the bike and noted that it required maintenance to the brake cable as well as work to its winch. My records indicate that approximately three hours was spent with respect to performing this review and maintenance prior to the sale.
At the time of sale (February 8), I informed [redacted] and her [redacted] of the warranty policy for Outback ATV Sales. This policy, which has been the same [redacted] provides that Outback ATV Sales will cost share any repairs on a 50/50 basis which are necessary and brought to my attention within 30 days from the sale of the ATV. Details of this policy were provided to [redacted] and her [redacted] by me during the conversation at the time of the sale of the ATV.
[redacted] is correct in the shortly after the sale took place, they returned to Outback ATV Sales when the tie rod end for the ATV had popped out. This repair was made by Outback ATV Sales at its cost solely in an attempt to maintain customer relations and given that the tie rod end had broken almost immediately upon the sale of the vehicle.
I received no contact from [redacted] or her [redacted] until June 2016 at which time they attended at the office for Outback ATV Sales indicating that they had been experiencing a number of problems, including most recently a defective front differential. At that time I reaffirmed to them the provisions of the warranty policy for Outback ATV Sales and indicated that because we deal in used ATVs (this one is 13 years old) our warranty period is limited to 30 days as there is no way to verify the type of use to which the vehicle is put after leaving Outback's premises.
During the review of the ATV prior to its sale, I did not note any problem with the front differential or with the brake pads or bearings of the ATV. All of these concerns were raised to Outback ATV Sales by [redacted] in June 2016 for the first time.
The warranty on the ATV expired on March 8, 2016 and given that these problems were identified to me approximately two months after the expiration of the 30 day warranty period, I informed [redacted] that Outback ATV Sales was not be in a position to either cost share the repairs identified by her, or to provide a refund for the ATV. This is consistent with Outback ATV Sales' business practices and warranty policy [redacted]

On or around Feb 19 2018 I received a call about a vibration coming from front end , a couple days later I received call and followed by a picture of a weld repair , via cell phone...
, not able to determine by pic what im looking at , I suggest him to drop off and I will have my mechanic that I use off site to look at. On and around these calls it is mentioned that he has already replaced engine , he also stated that I told him that it was not covered , did not have such conversation. Customer drops off to have vibration issue and weld look into , Im not able to get in to mechanic until after I return from vacation a week later do to his work schedule and my leaving next day. Mechanics finding are that front differential bearing kit is required for a total cost of 412.00 tax included. [redacted] would not pay and was very upset at this time, I then offered to co share this repair and he refused and requested the atv to be returned to my shop for him to pick up. In closing this ATV was gone over by our off site red seal mechanic on April 26 2017 and bearing , ball joints brakes , oil and fluids were completed for a total 654.12 tax included inv # [redacted].
[redacted] Declined to purchase extended warranty at time of purchase stating, ( he does his own work )
as per the weld repair it was not completed by Outback ATV Sales or our off site Mechanic
