Review: You`ve had the truck over six months wile pushing other cars through to get their checks also. I know your a busy shop and have helped ne personally in the past.I need this truck now more than ever. I`ll come help as I know you have a full house.My complaints are the tail light on the driver side needs to be installed(don't forget the extra hole has to be drilled for after market light.Polish driver side front plastic cover for headlamp. The headache rack is not square,they put the lock washers first when they go last before the nut. Change spare tire with new tire we discussed so all tires match as I did pay56 dollars as ins. said wear and tear.The front pass side light assembly was never addressed for that issue and remains.[redacted] has recall on exhaust if you could get it there. needs inspection. Lights on dash...ABS....Check engine...[redacted] ISSUE SINCE DAY ONE. have to haul trailer now,no time left,lots of things to do personnally. ive been walking for six months, cant do it anymore. [redacted] said they will warranty exhust sesors and labor due to recall. ins. said they paid for front seat damage as well...leather cover...fuse or switch seat doesn't move. examine general wellbeing ,brakes,etc.Desired Settlement: send to [redacted] for recall and dash lights.repair and adjust above mentioned items.exhaust recall and all sensors were mentioned in letter. Need inspection. Theres really not that much work left to accomplish,just wwant it right. you mentioned a strange sound of some sort. said the adjuster had to hear it, what was it? general quality inspection and some sort of road test even in parking lot is ok. LETS GET THIS DONE I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY ITS TAKING 6MONTHS PLEASE.

Review: On 12/**/14, my wife's car was involved in an accident. The other driver involved,who was covered by Allstate, was liable for all damage. R&U Auto Body offered to repair our car, and would rent a car from Hertz for us. My wife accepted the offer, and R&U rented a car from Hertz and took our car for repairs. Based on the estimates provided by Allstate, the repairs should only take approximately 7 days, yet it took well over a month. Even though Allstate took two to three days to examine the car before R&U started working on it, the number of days it took R&U to finish repairs on minor damage were absurd.

Once R&U was done repairing our car, we returned the rental car back to R&U, who had rented it from Hertz. A few days later, R&U told us that Hertz is requiring a credit card to close their bill in order for them to submit to Allstate for reimbursement. I was told by R&U that only a security hold of $50 would be placed as pending on my card. Unfortunately, I was charged $1769.41 by Hertz. After calling Hertz several times, I was able to obtain the receipt of this unauthorized transaction, which charged us for 59 days of rental. Next, I made dozens of phone calls with Allstate, who agreed to pay 30 days of rental (which far exceeded the expected 7-day repair) of $899.70. I also called and visited R&U several times regarding this charge. I was told by R&U that Hertz was only suppose to charge us with what Allstate was willing to pay, and that the rest was suppose to be billed to R&U. The guys at R&U told me that they would call Hertz the next day to reverse this charge on my card. I was lied to once more, and after making several daily phone calls to R&U, I came to the conclusion that R&U was not going to take any actions for this, and tried to push the problem on to Hertz. I was told to call back the next day each time I called, but with no results.

Hertz of Wantagh and R&U are in a partnership for rental cars. With that said, it became evident to me that both Hertz and R&U wanted to make Allstate pay an excessive amount for their gain by taking as much time as possible. However, this did not work and because of that, I am being charged an extra $869.71 that was not covered by Allstate.

R&O's excessive delay to complete repairs on minor damage and also delay of returning the rental car resulted in a charge, which was not completely covered by Allstate due to the excessive number of days.Desired Settlement: R&U needs to pay for the remaining charges of $869.71 (results from hertz charge of $1769.41 - $899.70, the amount Allstate is willing to pay) with a check.

They also owe me a huge apology for the countless hours I spent on the phone, and the constant lies I've been told.
