Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved Sincerely, [redacted] />

Good day ,
Today we are responding to a customers...

complaint, on feb **,16 a customer by the name of [redacted] came in to our tire shop for a flat fix on a tire, we began to jack up the car and remove the wheel , then we brought the tire in to test it , after testing it we discovered that the tire was not repairable, so we advised the customer that a used tire would be $45.00 & a new one will be $90.00. the customer said he wasn't ready to make a purchase and he wanted to put it back on the vehicle . When it was time for him to pay for our services he refused to. we explained that there was labor involved and we charge a $10 minimum service fee , the customer kept saying we didn't do anything. we also showed him our price list showing the $10 fee. I ALSO OFFERED TO THE CUSTOMER A CREDIT FOR THE $10 TOWARDS A FUTURE TIRE PURCHASE . WE DO UNDERSTAND THAT THE CUSTOMER ISN'T HAPPY PAYING ANY MONEY. BUT IN ALL DO RESPECT HOW WOULD WE STAY IN BUISNESS AND PAY OUR RENT , WORKERS , AND BILLS IF WE PURFORMED ANY SERVICE FOR FREE. IN TODAYS WORLD $10. IS NOT A LOT OF MONEY AND WE REALLY TRY TO PUT OUR SELF IN THE CUSTOMERS SHOES.
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING AND HOPE TO SEE ALL OF YOU AT
RUBBER BROS. TIRESHOP ALSO OUR WEBSITE IS [redacted] THANKS & HAPPY BUISNESS MIKE.

Review: My husband and I went to this company when I had a slow leak in my mercedes ml550 Continental Brand Tire. The worker This company sold me a tire for which I paid cash. I was told that if they patched the tire they couldn't guarantee it would work. They offered me a used tire for $150 and said if there were any issues to bring it back. Two weeks later, on Sunday 4/**/14 I went to drive my car and the tire was flat. I put on the spare and brought the tire into the shop. There were 2 workers who were not helpful and could provide no information. They told me to come back during the week (any day other than sunday) between the hours of 10-8 because the [redacted] did not work on Sunday but worked every other day. I went back to the shop on Tuesday 4/**/14 and spoke with the employee who sold me the tire. He was completely unhelpful and stated he would have to speak with the [redacted] and that I should come back another day. I explained that I was driving on a spare tire because of the faulty tire they gave me and could not keep making trips when the [redacted] was sporadically in the shop even though they told me otherwise. He inspected the tire and said they could do nothing. The tire had a hole on inside part facing the vehicle as if it were patched previously which he told me they didn't sell used tires with patches or plugs. I left my number and asked that the [redacted] who I was finally told was named "[redacted]" give me a call to discuss the issue. I was told that he would give me a call the next day. They did not give me a receipt and said hat the [redacted] would have to look into their paper files even though this employee explicitly remembered selling the tire because it was the last one they had of that type, brand and size, in the shop. Over a week later I have not been contacted by the [redacted] or anyone with authority to make any decisions. I have not had any resolution and have wasted my money on a faulty tire and have received no customer service from this company and have been given the run around. After speaking with my friends and family I am told that that is the reputation of this shop and that the shop [redacted] is always "unavailable" yet he is the only one that is able to make decisions and enforce policy.Desired Settlement: I asked them to repair or replace the faulty tire they sold me.

Review: I had a slow leak on my rear drivers side tire. I went to this tire shop called Rubber Brothers located at [redacted]. I explained to the mechanic that I had a slow leak, he proceeded to remove the tire from the car and only conducted a visual inspection of the tire. He then explained to me that the tire needed to be replaced. I then told him that I did not wish to have it replaced at this time. He then explained that there would be a charge of 10 dollars before he removed the jack while leaving it placed on the vehicle and refusing to lower it till I paid him. I then asked why was he charging me 10 dollars at which point he stated that it was for labor but no labor was actually performed. I then asked where was the sign indicating such procedure and he stated that it was in the rear of the store and if I wanted to see it, he would go and get it. This type of treatment was uncalled for as far as holding my car suspended on a jack and forced to pay money when no service was rendered, furthermore the so called sign was not visible at all. I have a written receipt for 10 dollars over work that was never performed. I checked on the web and found that they have done this type of procedure to other customers.Desired Settlement: I honestly believe that I should be refunded said 10 dollars and a sign should be placed where customers can see it.
