I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The auto dealer took advantage of me, a *** *** female buying a vehicle. The auto dealer failed to provide mandatory disclosure of vehicle despite being asked by me. They fraudulently changed the purchase price without my knowledge and consent by making me sign a contract that was blank where the contract price and other information was blank and failing to give me a copy of the contract They stated that they were unable to provide me with a copy of the contract because their printer was not working. They wrote on a piece of paper information that I would need to obtain insurance which I still have. I called them several time seeking a copy of the contract, but they never sent it to me until I got an attorney several weeks after I had purchased the car and paid $as a down payment. They failed to provide a working car. In fact, the car was so bad that the car stayed in their possession until six days later, I after I signed the contract and paid the down payment. I did not get to take the car home because I was being repaired by the dealer. When I finally got the car six days later, the problems were still there. They fraudulently claimed they would fix the car but they did not. I notified them of the problem immediately. They gave me the name of their mechanic and I took the car there to be repaired twice but the problem persisted. I tried to get the dealer to fix the car three times after that but the dealer told me he had no room at the lot and he could not help me. The dealer knew or should have known the car was unsafe and defective but fraudulently sold me the Dodge Grand Caravan any way. Fraudulently stated they would fix problems but failed to fix it. I was not looking for a perfect car. I was looking for a car that worked. They fraudulently sold me a car that did not work. They longer I had the car the more defects were uncovered. I returned the car to the dealer but was informed that *** *** *** *** no longer owned the company. I was told that the new company, Rubber Bros., which was located at the same site and had the same employees as when I bought the car and the same telephone number , were not responsible for any cars sold by *** *** *** ***. Yet *** *** *** *** is still listed as a dealer at the site. *** *** *** *** signs are still up at the location. The same person I dealt with, ***, is still working for the company. The same telephone and fax numbers are being used. When I purchased the car, Rubber Brossigns were up on the property as well. I was never notified that the ownership had changed at the time of purchase of thereafter when I complained about the car. I believe that the dealer’s claim that the ownership has changed is another attempt to commit fraud against me and the public to escape liability for selling defective and unsafe cars. I believe, based on my experience, that the auto dealer switches back and forth between *** *** *** ***s and Rubber Brosto deceive unsuspecting buyers like myself. The auto dealer also make me go to one of his lenders, *** *** ***. The auto dealer never disclosed I had a choice in lenders. The lender never disclosed the terms of the loan and never gave me a copy of the loan agreement. We met at the auto dealer’s location and I was told by ***, a representative of *** *** *** *** and *** *** ***, that I could not get a copy of the loan agreement because the printer did not work at the shop. *** used his cell phone to make a copy of my licenseOn July *, 2014, through my attorney, I notified *** *** *** *** and Rubber Bros., by certified mail and by fax that I returned the car and wanted my down payment of $back. I also asked them to cancel the loan with *** *** ***. They have refused to do so. Instead *** from Rubber Bros claimed no liability because the ownership has changed. *** stated to my attorney that the car was repaired and ready for pick up. *** would not disclose his last name to my attorney. He would not state what position he had with the company. *** would not disclose the date that Rubber Brosbecame the owners of the dealership. He just states it was after I purchased the vehicle. I no longer have any confidence that the auto dealer would provide a good product or act fairly in this matter. I am asking the auto dealer to buy back the loan from *** *** and return my down payment of $1500. *** *** is harassing me daily and sending threatening letters to me. The first payment was due July *,
Sincerely,

Hi good day , today I'm responding to this complaint , the complaintant states that there were some problems with their vehicle a ( 2005 grand caravan ). The previous business sold this vehicle to [redacted]...

, and we, as the new business owners, were trying to help her. She was unfair & not cooperative with us. We offered to help her and try to repair the vehicle even though it is a 10 year old vehicle with over 100k miles and the lemon law & warrantee only applies to the engine & transmission not an airbag light which happened after she took possession. Also, rear view mirrors are usually held with glue and could and may fall off from age. As for the drivers rear door that doesn't open with remote, we again have to remember that [redacted] purchased a used 10 year old vehicle with over 100,000 miles. I believe a consumer that is looking for a PERFECT vehicle will only be happy with a BRAND NEW VEHICLE not a vehicle that ha s been driven before. Let it also be noted that we DID REPAIR THE AIRBAG LIGHT as a curtesy and good gesture. She has since then hired an attorney who is harassing us and is not understanding. WE AT RUBBER BROS AUTO WORLD TAKE OUR BUISNESS VERY SERIOUSLY AND TRY TO ACCOMODATE EVERYONE.
