BAIT & SWITCH!!!! THIS BUSINESS TOLD ME THE PRICE FOR A CERTAIN VEHICLE WAS $64800. THEY SENT ME A COPY OF THE WINDOW SICKER AND THE PRICE ON IT WAS 64800---I CALLED THEM A WEEK LATER AND THEY STATED OH WE CAN'T SELL THAT CAR AT THAT PRICE WE HAVE TO SELL IT FOR $74,800---WHAT A RIP-OFF------O NOT BUY FROM RUDIG-JENSEN!!!!-

Review: On 8/22/15, my significant other and I traveled from Eureka Missouri to New Lisbon WI to [redacted] Ford to purchase a used 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The vehicle had approx. 65,000 miles and was said to be in good condition. We did examine vehicle prior to purchasing and starting to drive home on the same day. Vehicle seemed to do fine on trip home. On 8/30/15, 8 days after purchase, my family was stranded by said vehicle and had to be towed due to alternator. Mechanic replaced but was suspicious about vehicle since a working battery had been replaced prior to sale. Alternator was $386 and tow was $75. Again, vehicle malfunctioned and check engine light is now lit. Mechanic reinspected vehicle and it has a rusted hole through gas filler neck and crack in gas filler neck. Vehicle currently has temporary Wisconsin tags but cannot license in Missouri due to this problem (will not pass emissions inspection). We have 12 days to resolve before tags from Wisconsin expire. I spoke with the salesman last week, [redacted] and was informed the business manager would be contacting me regarding the situation. [redacted] informed me that during similar experiences with previous clients, some monetary reimbursement was given to customer with excessive mechanical problems within 8 days of purchase. I have yet to be contacted by dealership and have paid out upwards of $500 (without resolving gas filler neck issue) in just 8 days of ownership.Desired Settlement: After being informed that previous customers had received some type of monetary reimbursement due to similar issues, we would request that some reimbursement be applied. We live 7+ hours from said dealership so returning to dealership for repairs is not an acceptable form of dissolution/resolution of complaint.
