We offered this customer the options provided by the New York State Puppy Lemon Law:First, we offered the customer to return the puppy and receive a full refund.Second, we offered the customer to return the puppy and to chose another dog of her choosing equal to or less than the purchase price of
the puppy she originally purchased.Third, the customer had the option to keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for veterinarian expenses up to the purchase price of the puppy as listed in her warranty. This customer did not want to return their puppy which is perfectly fine, therefore we will honor our warranty and reimburse this customer up to the purchase price of the puppy in veterinarian expenses as our warranty list

I have left my number and name the owner could have picked up the phone and contacted meThis company is known for their practices If the puppy was sick before sale why would you sell it to begin with so if you take the puppy back and cure it only to return him you could have done that before saleon top of that I paid dollars for a vet and another in medicationI would like a refund of dollars for the care of the puppy that I already paid proof can be shown I have a letter of unhealthy puppy sale from the vetAgain owner or someone can contact me to discuss.

This is the third response explaining that the warranty company is reimbursing the customer for the full amount and additional expenses by the New York State Law. I have also contacted the warranty company again and the customers check for reimbursement is on the way. There is not much more we can offer.

Customer contacted our store without describing any issues or concerns, strictly wanting to speak with owner. Our store manager told the customer to email me (District Manager) at [redacted] to discuss their options. Customer refused to...

email. However, the customer has three options provided by the New York State Puppy Lemon Law. I have attached a copy of "The Sale of Dog and Cat Notice" where it list the customers options. We also provide a fourth option where we like to go above and beyond the New York State Puppy Lemon Law. The customer can return the puppy and receive a full refund. We then nourish the puppy back to full health receiving around the clock care from our trained staff and certified veterinarian. Once the puppy is cleared to go home, the customer has the option to repurchase the puppy at a discounted price for any inconvenience endured. I have also contacted our warranty company and they will be reimbursing the customer for veterinarian expenses as soon as possible.

 The vet costs will far exceed the purchase price of the puppy!!! Our vet says it can take months for his Pneumonia to clear because puppies have very weak immune systems. This dog would have likely died in that store especially when it received a clean bill of health and no one had a clue as to how sick he was, not even the store's vet! I am asking for partial reimbursement of the purchase of the dog.
