I own a Honda Civic that was in pretty good condition before I had my accident From looking at the damages (front end) I didn't believe they were too bad and was confident that that Rudolph Body and Paint would be able to fix my vehicle as they were highly recommended and on the "preferred" list from my insurance company They towed my vehicle to their shop and a few days later I received a call from my insurance company advising they would be totaling my vehicle based off the estimate they received from Rudolph Body and Paint! After looking at the estimate I was shocked that parts alone were close to $3,and with labor and painting of the vehicle the estimate was over $6,which according to my insurance company was over the threshold of what they were willing to pay for repairs based on the value of my vehicle Apparently my insurance company had someone at Rudolph Body and Paint to revise the vehicle for them so that they would be able to give me the value of my vehicle based on its condition I ultimately decided to have my vehicle towed to another body shop to get a second estimate and I was so upset when I went to look at my vehicle There were pink marks all over my car, which were small scratches and the funniest of all a bird dropping on the trunk had been circled as an item that was devaluating my vehicle, seriously!! To make matters worse, the front bumper and other parts that had been taken off were just thrown in my back seat without a plastic cover! There are now stains on my seats that were not there before from their carelessness! I don't know if they were upset that I wasn't fixing my vehicle at their shop or what but I found that to be so unprofessional, and would have thought out of common courtesy they would have at least put something to protect my seats from being damaged This whole experience has been a nightmare!
Terrible workmanshipManagers are incompetent and rude not taking responsibility for the shoddy work that the shop producesI was ambushed by *** *** and *** *** demanding that that they were not going to attempt to correct the defects in the paint jobTheir excuse was that it was a factory silver and was difficult to reproduce
