Rudsak Reviews (3)

I purchased a pair of their boots from year end sales in March, I worn them for times during Nov and Dec and then the soles started peeling offI called customer service and they said I should have not worn the boots in wet condition!! (I wonder why someone buys boots to begin with?)Then the customer service rep started telling me about her experience with another shoe company and how she had the same experience!!!
Long story short, Rudsak customer service expressed that boots are not repairable and they have only been covered for 30-days post purchase and too bad that I bought them during end of year season when there was no snow!
Customer Service was very poor and did not even try to keep me as their customerAlthough I expressed I would like to address this concern including the way the customer service rep spoke to me with higher level, the respond I received was that I was speaking with customer service manager and it is the highest level in head office!!

Absolutely [redacted] customer service! I can't believe I spent over $1000 in their Eaton Centre location only to receive [redacted] customer service.
My husband and I went in looking for a winter coat for him. He tried two styles but decided that he liked the [redacted] coat. The sales associate assured us that the coat is very warm and sustainable, this was our first time buying anything from this company so we didn't think twice about the information we were getting. I ended up getting the [redacted] hat and the [redacted] gloves for myself. The sales associate assured us if we have any issues feel free to drop by or call the store, we were told we have 14 days to return our items no questions asked and a year warranty.
Fast forward a week later my husband decides to wear his new coat because outside was quite cold. He walks outside of our condo and comes back upstairs and calls me at work to tell me that the new coat we just got him is not warm at all! He walks to work so this is a big factor. He said he could feel the wind blow right though the coat. Now we were told it's a warm wool winter coat (but upon further research after the fact, it's actually listed as a transitional jacket) obviously it was not and we were fooled out of our money by a sales associate just trying to make budget so she can keep her job.
Well right away he calls the store and speaks to a associate who tells him that he can return the jacket no questions asked (so this was said to him for a second time) plus we still have 7 days left on our receipt, he explained to sales associate that he had taken the tags off and was assured that wouldn't be an issue. We both work different schedules so he wasn't able to go into the store until two days after calling the store so at his time we now have 5 days left.
My husband goes back to the store with the receipt and dust bag, jacket in great condition only to be told nothing can be done for him because he's taken off the tags. I was furious, the sales associate said she will call her district manager to see if anything can be done of course the dm did not answer their phone. We walked around the mall for an hour waiting to see if they can get in contact but nothing.
I proceed to call customer service and explain the situation, the only help I received was being told nothing can be done the tags were removed. Now I did understand that, so I asked if there's anyway that a store credit could be given to us so he can get something else that he likes that's better for this weather I was told no. Even though your sales associate told my husband he can get a refund when he called the store , I got extremely upset because there goes our money down the drain. The customer service rep said she will call the store to find out what condition the jacket was in, she put me on hold then she came back saying nothing can be done! But she didn't even call the store! I asked to speak to someone above her, she forwarded me to her manager of course I got a voice mail box. I decided not to leave a message. I figured if I received such [redacted] service to this point what would be the difference.
Before this experience I made the mistake of purchasing more items from rudsak that I love, after going though this I really thought hard if I should return the items I bought. I decided not to because this company won't last long anyways. [redacted] I work in retail myself and understand that good customer service is what makes it breaks your brand. [redacted] If rudsak had offered us a exchange on the spot we would have been happy customers, but now were out of money and stuck with a coat that can't be worn in winter so now we have to spend more money to buy another coat!
