I just listened to the voicemail and read the email that Simone from Rudy Project sent me. She seemed very nice and professional which I do appreciate. She offered me 30% off a different helmet but I feel I have already paid for the helmet. I recognize I took advantage of a special deal that if you bought sunglasses you received a free helmet, duffle bag, t shirt, and hat. As somebody that works in marketing, I feel those items weren't necessarily "free" but "included" in the price I already paid so I don't want to spend more money to get the same helmet in a different color. 30% off isn't that great of a deal because I'm a member of an organization which is sponsored by Rudy and my code is for about 50% off. I wish they never advertised a deal which included a product they didn't have on hand or at least had confirmation was on the way. In hindsight, I wish I just ordered the sunglasses and the helmet with my team discount code instead of falling for the gimmicky advertising scheme to move product. I do feel this is weird service to receive from Rudy and I do feel like all of my peers are happy with the service and products they have received from Rudy Project.
