Rudy's Restaurant Upper State

Review: Hello,I placed an order over the phone on Oct 18, 2014 with Rudys Mexican Restaurant Upper State, [redacted] State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93105, ###-###-#### for chicken nachos. I read on their online menu they come with guacamole. I went to Rudys and paid for my order and took it home. When I opened the box at home I noticed that there was no guacamole. I called the restaurant and spoke to the same boy who took my order. I asked him if the online menu was wrong since I have no guacamole on my nachos. He said they do come with guacamole but they didnt have enough and couldnt make anymore. He said sorry for telling me too late. I said what do you mean you told me to late I am calling you to see what happened. He just laughed so I ask to speak to the manager. He said there was no manager to call tomorrow. I called the Rudys on Calle Real in Goleta, CA to see if I can speak to their manager. I was told he couldnt help but they can give a message to the owner. I left my name and number for the owner to call me.I called Rudys on upper state back Sunday 10/19 and was told the manager was not available so I left a message to have the manager call me. Since that initial call I placed 3 more calls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and was told to leave a message all 3 times.I called Rudys upper state today Wednesday 10/29 doing my lunch hour. A women answered the phone and I asked for the manager. She said what can I do for you? I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. I proceeded to tell her what happened on 10/18 with my order and she was talking to other people while I was explaining the situation. When I was done she said what do you want me to do about it? I said Im surprised there was no discount or a comp for my food. She said well its been over a week and you didnt bring it back so I cant do anything for you. I said the boy told me to call for a manager and even if I did bring it back they couldnt fix it because they had no guacamole. I asked her name and she said she didnt need to give it to me. I said well since you cant do anything for me I will take my business somewhere else and will not recommend them to anyone. She said thats fine. So I ended the call. I called the Rudys again on Calle Real and ask to speak to the owner. They told me they can take a message. I asked if the owner had another office or an e-mail I can reach him on. They told me they only way to reach him is if I leave a message. So I left all my information again. I am completely horrified at the lack of customer service and professionalism displayed my their staff and management. I wasnt even given an apology by the manager for their mistake. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else in the future.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund since they sold me something that they knew wasnt all there. I dont want a replacement because I dont want to go through this situation again.
