Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I received your note via email this morning regarding Complaint ID [redacted] There is a major error in what Reeves construction is stating in their response Here is what they said: “ The office has spoken to and left a message for the [redacted] We told them that the skylight had been ordered and when it arrived, was the wrong size so we had to wait on the correct size They were informed of thatWe were told we could not finish the interior until the leak was stopped.(that makes sense) However, the leak has nothing to do with the skylight or the roofThe problem is with the chimney,which is not in the insurance paperwork anywhereOur construction supervisor explained to the [redacted] , in person, that the problem was the rotten wood on the chimney, and two areas of flashingWe are working on a price to repair that, but has nothing to do with what we were originally contracted to do In fact, the when the supervisor visited us (now almost weeks ago), he found an ADDITIONAL source of the leak, which is the chimney This is not the original source that the original agent found, but is in fact a 2nd source The way they have worded their response it is as if they are saying the leak wasn’t coming from the original place on the roof, but instead the leak is coming from the chimney But the reality is there are two sources of leaks, and I showed the supervisor both separate leak points where water was coming into our house What he did, was pinpoint the source of the 2nd leak, but the first is still a source of a leak that has yet not been repaired Reeves is correct that the chimney leak was not on the original insurance paperwork, but this is a 2nd source and has nothing to do with the first source Reeves finally contacted us on March 3rd with a phone call (there was not a message left as indicated in their reply), and the person was very apologetic about not contacting us or returning our voice mail to them from weeks prior She said she would send their best man out the next day and he did visit us, I showed him the places where water was coming in our house He quickly acknowledged the source of one of the leaks, and then found that the chimney was the source of leak number We agreed he would get right on it, and that was almost weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything back yet This morning I left them a message that I was going to take them to court over this It was been way too long, and they have 2/3’s of the money from the insurance company and they are not doing anything to communicate, to set dates for the repair, or anythingSincerely, [redacted] 864- [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Also I reply from both of you arrived after I have another encounter with another roofer on the same day hours after the meetingVery interesting, it is noted and in writingNo problem there, whatever story and attitude there, I have a proposal in writingYou can not explain all this away because Mr [redacted] never got on the roof, never measured the roof, never explained how or what would make the repair correct I guess it would be fair assumptions the whole meeting was a sham when one arrives for a meeting about a roof repair and does not bring a ladder! Therefore moving forward, a detailed letter of the problem, how to repair the problem, what exact materials will be used & the amount needed & the square footage of what is to be removed & replaced; so that all parties are clearAlso, the drip edge that is not on any of the three roofs, and is in the complaint and code, should also be addressed in this letterPlease share this with Mrs [redacted] and once all parties are clear on what, when, where & how, how much, etcAs outlined above, then everyone is clearI am sure you as a Revdex.com rep understand the need for clarity by all parties? I have left a message for MR *** to call me for an appt to see the roof next weekMRS *** is mistaken Two reps have come to the house seeing no problemThe issue incorrect material on a roof without nough pitch not the nailed down shinglesAnd I left message at office and spoke to roofer directly to get a tarp the Friday before they return ed from holidayRoofer would not answer call only comment He works for Mr ***

As of weeks after Reeves took our check, the sales rep still worked at Reeves and said he would try again to contact the ownerReeves has not contacted us about an install date for the skylightThe skylight has nothing to do with the leakIt was damaged in the hail storm but is not the cause of the leak, so Reeves has apparently not even read the insurance adjusters comments about what needs to be repaired, it's much more extensiveReeves says that one call was made; one call was made to the main office after weeks of contacting the sales rep and I still have the call logs and the texts of him apologizing for Reeves not respondingIn fact the Reeves workers that came to our home to start the inside work apologized because they couldn't understand why the roof repair workers would not respondThey themselves tried to get to the bottom of this for us, but were unable to do soRegarding the skylight, they showed up on Friday Feb 26th unannounced to measure the skylight, and as of today March no one from Reeves has contacted us about setting a date for anything

Morning Cindy - enclosed are the documents - I received two checks from the insurance company - for $2,228.64, 2nd $6,= $8,562.84. As noted below - roof was completed for $8,leaving a credit balance of $

Ms***, Today a different group of roofers representing Reeves ConstructionI believe, this roof was install correctlyThey removed the shingles & felt placed the membrane To the point the roofs pitch starts upwardThey put in the ridge venting material at the point of the pitch becoming flatterThe drip edge was also installed and it looks much better.These gentlemen worked diligentlyThese are the recommendations the other roofers indicated were neededReeves construction did make the correctionsThank you

On 6-4-*** *** signed a contract with Reeves ConstructionWe agreed to meet with her insurance company on her roof to show any storm damage, and if they agreed, we do the work We didThey didShe picked a colorWe had a sign in her yardWe were waiting on the paperwork from the
insurance companyOn Thursday 6-25-15, we received a call from ***, (a represenative of *** ***) stating threats to Mrs* ***There were no threatsOur office had not received any communication from Mrs*** via phone, email, fax, or mail stating she did not want us doing her workOur contract clearly states, if we get your work approved by the insurance company, that we get to do it, or there is a 10% cancelation fee.(which we did not receive) "***" called us Thursday 6-25-as a "representative" of Mrs***, under pretensesHe offered to pay $to get her out of her contractHis involvement has created a problem where there was notHad he followed normal(respectful) business practices, this would not be an issueHis behavior is extemley suspectWe consider this harassment.We have sent this information to our attorney(*** ***) for review*** ***

This house had the roof replaced in July of 2014. After reviewing her file, there is nothing in the file that states a refund is due. However, I will contact the sales rep for the job, but since it has been over a year, with no contact, it may take a few days.

The information about the refund was not in the office file. We did recover an email from the salesman. It did state she would be receiving a refund. We are sorry it was over looked last year by us and the homeowner as well. We will be sending out a check next week. (The person that writes the checks is out of the office until then) Hopefully this will resolve any issues. Thank you, [redacted] Reeves Construction
