I did not speak with *** *** I spoke with his brother, *** *** on Tuesday, November 4, who was very rude to me, and continually interrupted me He went so far as to accuse me of being a "spiteful woman" I ended up hanging up on him due to his abuse I feel that, if I were a man or not a single woman, he would have treated me differently - instead, I feel he tried to intimidate me As of 10:PM on July , the contractor provided by Rugh's Remodeling, *** ***, had not completed the work, leaving an area on one wall that was patched, but not finish sanded, primed or painted Knowing *** had weekend plans with his family, I told *** I would finish it In addition, my daughter and I helped *** remove and load his equipment and we did the interior clean up The following week, *** *** came to my house to check the interior repairs and he said the unfinished work was "unacceptable and the he would send someone out to finish it" Time went by, and I made contact several times with *** who eventually sent "***" out to finish the patch and to touch up the ceiling paint where *** had hit it with the sidewall paint. At the time, I told *** that the wall had to be primed before it was painted He told me that "coats of paint would cover and be fine" He also touched up the ceiling The two coats of paint did not cover the repairs; the ceiling paint did not match. As far as the Rugh Brother's assertion that I contracted directly with *** ***, he was the person provided by Rugh's Remodeling to do interior repairs to my residence - repainting ceilings in bedrooms due to water damage and repairs to and painting the ceiling in the great room, also due to water damage While *** was there, I spoke with him about the possibility of re-painting my great room *** quoted me a price; subsequently he discovered there was water damage to the walls in the great room, reported same to ***, who then filed a supplement with my insurance company for additional scope of work, which was then approved by my insurance company Since I had already "discussed" *** painting the great room, *** told me to pay him the $he quoted and then deduct that from my final payment to Rugh's Remodeling My insurance allowed $for the painting of the great room, a part of which is the wall under dispute I paid *** *** $for the painting and provided the paint at a cost of $147.73, both of which I deducted, with ***'s approval, from the final payment due I paid a total of $out of pocket, insurance allowed $1441.80, for a net profit to Rugh's of $on the great room portion of the job.I called ***'s cell phone on Thursday, October and left a message stating that I wanted the work completed by Friday, October or I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com Not hearing from him, I did so on Monday, November 3.Also, I was supposed to receive a written warranty on the roof, which I have not received I have called *** Rugh's cell phone repeatedly to schedule completion Since August, he has not answered my calls and I have left voice mail Neither has he returned my phone calls His cell phone number is the number on his business card and prior to that, I had no problem with him answering or returning my calls Last Tuesday when *** called me at my office, he stated that I had not called him, he did not have any messages from me, nor did he have any missed calls I think if his cell phone bills were reviewed, it would show many calls from my office number, ###-###-#### or my home phone number, ###-###-####.Seven minutes after ***'s phone call to me Tuesday, November 4, he had *** *** call me *** said that he thought I agreed that I was going to finish the work I told him that *** made the decision to send *** out and *** replied that *** had accepted responsibility for the work by sending *** out He offered to come and do the finish work I was so upset by ***'s phone call and told him no, that it was not up to him at that point He gave me his phone number and told me to call him if I changed my mind.Sincerely,
*** ***

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me

Attached, you will find copies of both the insurance supplement for payment of the insurance claim for the roof and interior repairs and the deductions for what I paid out of pocket for the painting, at *** Rugh's request Again, this is insurance work, not privately contracted work as the Rugh Brothers continue to claim.Again, I will restate, I was so upset by my telephone treatment by *** Rugh on November 4, that I told *** *** seven minutes later when he called that I did not want him to do the repairs that *** had started.I am not at all unsatisfied with the roof replacement (still awaiting the written warranty); it appears to have been done well and looks good I am unsatisfied with the treatment I have received since August, ie, lack of return telephone calls and non-completion of the promised interior repair.I would appreciate if whomever is planning to finish the interior work would contact me to schedule at date and time.Sincerely,*** ** ***
