In every way does Rugh's Remodeling strive for the best experience possible for all of our consumers. We truly take pride in all we do and have always tried our best to resolve the hand full of complaints over the years. With averaging 400 roofing systems per year and in the thousands in our...

companies life, very few times has any problems with our customers occurred. With the H[redacted] job we were here from beginning to end trying to restore the home to its pre storm condition. We inspected it and handled the claims process to ensure the homeowner would be correctly recovered by her insurance company. We go over our product line and process and then pick colors with the homeowner to begin the scheduling and build process. In this case the consumer had specific days she wanted the build to happen on so we tried to appease her in every way. When dealing with the insurance companies our estimates and product quality is based off of what is existing on the home. We provided the consumer with a [redacted] Oakridge laminated dimensional shingle which is considered a 40 year shingle with amazing warranty and specs. The first day went off like any other build, we wrapped up shop and looked forward to getting back out the next day to continue progress and get completed. Unfortunately mother nature has its own game plan and decided that a 10 percent chance of rain through the evening meant pour buckets of rain through the early am. Fortunately we had the home weathered in and didn't result in the home being damaged inside. We worked through that the morning of the second day with the homeowner and got back busy. The roof got completed and next we did the gutter system. I received a call from T**i happy and thankful that we got through this occurrence as a team. At this time we hadn't received any form of down payment due to the homeowners request for an immediate installation and the insurance check needing to be endorsed by her mortgage company. Which is not uncommon for us to provide work in advance of being a deposit. Weeks went by and Ms. H[redacted] became very difficult to get ahold of and not one complaint since the build. Once it came to the time that our right as a company to place a lien was almost up I reached out letting her know that it would be happening and that in no way was this against her or a case of not thinking she would pay, but step that was necessary to protect my business. She understood and still no complaint of any kind. Then she reached out with several problems and wanted resolution. She told me she hired several companies to inspect her roof and there were issues. I asked for copies of them and pics so we could review and resolve or for myself to come personally and inspect everything and go from there. She told me no one would be getting on her roof until spring because we were now several months past installation and the middle of the worst winter on record in 20 plus years. (which to my knowledge the roof did its job through). So I said ok we will wait until then. She messaged me that I was being notified that myself or anyone affiliated with Rugh's Remodeling were not allowed on her property. We are more then happy to come out and resolve any issues that may be present. All it takes is a phone call and some scheduling. In no way does Rugh's Remodeling stand for nor allow corners to be cut. If something was then it will be resolved the best way humanely possible. Ms H[redacted] continues to defame my companies character through out social media and other avenues. We at Rugh's have never been sued for roofing or any kind of home remodeling issues. We strive for the best and will continue to do so. Let me know when further action or resolution is needed.

Once again this is [redacted] owner of Rughs Remodeling wherever the confusion is coming from I have no idea we have over 200 valued customers this year alone and we will continue to have them we finish all of our jobs. We have reached out to [redacted] to complete the work and she is not letting us do that! That is what we are offering to do to take care of this job that has nothing to do with out contract which when I get back to my office I will be forwarding to the Revdex.com. If she wants us to finish the work that she paid someone else to do that didn't get done we already said we would take care of it. Please let me know what she would like done.

To Whom it may concern,My name is [redacted] owner of the company I spoke with [redacted] yesterday this whole dispute is false she hired our interior painting guy after we completed all the work in our contract and had him do some work for her she admitted to us on the phone yesterday that...

what she was talking about had nothing to do with Rugh's Remodeling.  I still offered to come out and fix the problem and she refused to let us come out and do whatever it was she wanted done. It would be great if u could call [redacted] and ask her if everything that was in The Rughs Remodeling contract was completed and she should tell you the truth because the accusations are false.Any questions or concerns please call ###-###-####Sincerely,[redacted]

I did not speak with [redacted].  I spoke with his brother, [redacted] on Tuesday, November 4, who was very rude to me, and continually interrupted me.  He went so far as to accuse me of being a "spiteful woman".   I ended up hanging up on him due to his abuse.   I feel that, if I were a man or not a single woman, he would have treated me differently - instead, I feel he tried to intimidate me.  As of 10:30 PM on July 4 , the contractor provided by Rugh's Remodeling, [redacted], had not completed the work, leaving an area on one wall that was patched, but not finish sanded, primed or painted.  Knowing [redacted] had weekend plans with his family,  I told [redacted] I would finish it.  In addition, my daughter and I helped [redacted] remove and load his equipment and we did the interior clean up.  The following week, [redacted] came to my house to check the interior repairs and he said the unfinished work was "unacceptable and the he would send someone out to finish it".  Time went by, and I made contact several times with [redacted] who eventually sent "[redacted]" out to finish the patch and to touch up the ceiling paint where [redacted] had hit it with the sidewall paint. At the time, I told [redacted] that the wall had to be primed before it was painted.  He told me that "2 coats of paint would cover and be fine".  He also touched up the ceiling.  The two coats of paint did not cover the repairs;  the ceiling paint did not match. As far as the Rugh Brother's assertion that I contracted directly with [redacted], he was the person provided by Rugh's Remodeling to do interior repairs to my residence - repainting ceilings in 3 bedrooms due to water damage and repairs to and painting the ceiling in the great room, also due to water damage.   While [redacted] was there, I spoke with him about the possibility of re-painting my great room.  [redacted] quoted me a price;  subsequently he discovered there was water damage to the walls in the great room, reported same to [redacted], who then filed a supplement with my insurance company for additional scope of work, which was then approved by my insurance company.  Since I had already "discussed" [redacted] painting the great room, [redacted] told me to pay him the $500.00 he quoted and then deduct that from my final payment to Rugh's Remodeling.  My insurance allowed $1441.80 for the painting of the great room, a part of which is the wall under dispute.  I paid [redacted] $500 for the painting and provided the paint at a cost of $147.73, both of which I deducted, with [redacted]'s approval, from the final payment due.  I paid a total of $647.73 out of pocket, insurance allowed $1441.80, for a net profit to Rugh's of $794.07 on the great room portion of the job.I called [redacted]'s cell phone on Thursday, October 23 and left a message stating that I wanted the work completed by Friday, October 31 or I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com.  Not hearing from him, I did so on Monday, November 3.Also, I was supposed to receive a written warranty on the roof, which I have not received.  I have called [redacted] Rugh's cell phone repeatedly to schedule completion.  Since August, he has not answered my calls and I have left voice mail.  Neither has he returned my phone calls.   His cell phone number is the number on his business card and prior to that, I had no problem with him answering or returning my calls.   Last Tuesday when [redacted] called me at my office, he stated that I had not called him, he did not have any messages from me, nor did he have any missed calls.  I think if his cell phone bills were reviewed, it would show many calls from my office number, ###-###-#### or my home phone number, ###-###-####.Seven minutes after [redacted]'s phone call to me Tuesday, November 4, he had [redacted] call me.  [redacted] said that he thought I agreed that I was going to finish the work.  I told him that [redacted] made the decision to send [redacted] out and [redacted] replied that [redacted] had accepted responsibility for the work by sending [redacted] out.  He offered to come and do the finish work.  I was so upset by [redacted]'s phone call and told him no, that it was not up to him at that point.  He gave me his phone number and told me to call him if I changed my mind.Sincerely,
[redacted]

We have already told her we would get the problem taken care of as long as she will let us come out I will contact her after the first of the year and schedule a time to do it as I am out of state right now.Sincerely,[redacted]
