July 28, 2017Response to complaint ID# [redacted] :Ms [redacted] and her father applied through our websiteThe application fees were paid online, a receiptis then generated and emailed to the applicantMs [redacted] actually emailed a screenshot of this receiptto our office on April Our office asked the applicant on several occasions, if she would be using hervoucher or not and living with her fatherThis made a difference in which properties she qualified forbased on income/voucherOnce she gave a definitive answer about not using her voucher, we advisedher price range and the available properties in her price rangeWe require the full deposit (which is thesame amount as month rent) and first month's rent to move in to all our propertiesShe did not like orwant any of the available properties in her price rangeWe did explain to her the process of eachproperty possibly having more than one approved application and once approved the next step would beto pay the deposit on the property to hold it and remove it from available listThe longer you wait, thechoices may change due to other people securing a property with a depositWe also explained this is thereason we are able to move her application to any available property in her price rangeWe alsoexplained it is extremely common to call and check on an applicationThis is the point where things reallydigressed with herShe became extremely insulting and angryShe wrote a very offensive review ongoogle, asserting we (our office) were not American or natural born citizensThis assumption was basedon our name and/or skin colorWe advised Ms [redacted] we did not appreciate or support that kind ofhate speech and thinking and that she may not be a good fit for any of our propertiesMs [redacted] hassince continued to randomly send offensive, insulting and harassing emails - her most recent email wasreceived on July Given the content of her emails, we have stopped responding to her in hopes shewould also stopAt this point we will gladly give Ms [redacted] $60, if this would stop her harassment andremove her offensive review

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me but the response is full of lies! They explained nothing to me! I became angry because they are unprofessional liars! They never sent me receipts! I had to send a screenshot proving that I made the first payment on the application! They hung up in my face for no good reason and hardly responded to my emails. I had to call them every step of the way because they refuse to keep in touch with me! If not calling the client is a common practice in business, then why are they the only properties that behave this way? I never dealt with the owner. She is believing the lies of her employees or knows what has happened and is just flat out lying! No step in the application process was explained to me and [redacted] knew from the beginning that I planned to qualify on income. These people are so incompetent that [redacted] kept asking for the same information over and over again then blamed me for delays. How dare I be angry about being lied on, lied to and mistreated by indidvuals and businesses for no good reason? I haven't sent an "offensive message" since July 4th weekend. I hardly think that is harassment. I'm sorry that they find the truth to be offensive! The screenshot is for 30 bucks from my online banking account to prove to them that I made the first payment! I was never ever furnished with a receipt. If they are so concerned about bad reviews, then they should not behave badly. If they are in the right, why furnish a refund? Me saying that I'm tired of being treated badly by people, especially foreign born citizens is not hate speech! How dare I speak out against being abused by anyone? Their properties are overpriced and crappy. The online photos are not a true representation of their properties. I may take down the Google review but they can't stop me from posting here or elsewhere. Again, I asked about a particular property and then I was told how much my dad and I qualified for. They are unethical, unprofessional and dishonest. They had no reason to behave this way toward me except that they are the hateful ones. I have copies of my correspondences with them in my email folder. Anything I found out about my application was in drips and drabs when I called them.
