The salesman and owner sold me a car that they described as a clean Title. However 3 months later after purchasing the car, the title showed up as a Salvage Title. Now knowing that this is illegal, I have had no response from the owner.

Sequel to your message with regards to complaint *** which states we sold a car which was branded a prior salvage, we are responding in defense to the allegation as follows:
The ford focus with VIN:*** was bought by us from IAA (Insurance Auto Auctions) on the 20th of Nov 2019 and it was branded a Wisconsin Clean title to the best of our knowledge and we have documents to ascertain that.
we replaced a cracked Driver side Headlight and ran diagnostics/servicing whichever was needed to certify the vehicle was safe to be driven on the road before putting it up for sale. On the 6th Of December 2019, *** of *** Elko New Market, MN 55020 came for a test drive and inspection of the vehicle above and upon being satisfied, he filled out the necessary paperwork and signed the original Wisconsin Clean title, which we also made a copy of per protocol and for record purposes. He never reached out to us with regards to this development and the first time we heard about it was through your Phone call and we sincerely apologize for that. We tried reaching out to him on several occasions to see how we could resolve this problem but he never answered our calls neither did he return them despite leaving voice messages for him.
I have also attached a copy of the title both front and back for your perusal and pictures of the vehicle and branding information provided to us from the auction. Thank you for your time and once again apologies for the late response.
