Run Moving & Storage

Review: On May 26th, 2012 I hired Run Moving and Storage to relocate our belongings from our current residence to our future residence. During the move there was significant damage to the recently purchased Refrigerator. In an attempt to make the Refrigerator fit the team from Run Moving and Storage shoved and pushed the Refrigerator into a doorway that was too small. Damage occurred along the left side and the Freezer door. The team from Run Moving and Storage realized the issue and attempted again after taking the door and the brackets off of the frame. Again, the Refrigerator did not fit. It was at this point that the team loaded the Fridge back onto the truck and returned it to our current residence. At the end of the move the owner ([redacted]) and I agreed to that he would contact his insurance company and have the Insurance Adjuster evaluate the Fridge. This call never came! I contacted [redacted] over the next 5 months on a weekly basis. Most of the calls went to VM. When [redacted] did answer the phone the stories ranged from him "leaving the country" and promising to handle the issue upon his return to him begging me NOT to contact his insurance company and he would handle the issue "out of pocket". The issue was never handled. During our second to last conversation (November 2012) [redacted] finally offered me his Insurance company [redacted]). I contacted the [redacted] only to find out that Run Moving and Storage Company was no longer covered due to lack of payment. Multiple attempts have been made since November of 2012 without success. As of March 7th 2013 [redacted] has NOT returned any of my phone calls, certified letters, or emails (with read receipts). The Refrigerator remains damaged with no repair date in sight!Desired Settlement: Considering we do not have the actual cost of the damage the compensation is negotiable.
