RUNI Recycling Machinery Reviews (%countItem)

Phoenix Recycling, , bought a RUNI densifier from Matt B (1 man representative in US for RUNI, a company in Denmark). He was contracted to install equipment in early December. Mr. B kept calling and stating he would install on Dec. 5th, but sending emails to his supers in Denmark that he might have a problem. His phone calls kept reassuring me everything was great and on schedule. Two days before install, Matt B sent an email to me stating he could not install until the next year, his wife would not let him go on the install. Phoenix RE ended up losing thousands on travel and the customer in CA was furious. Phoenix found the only other company that represents RUNI in the US, and they saved the install (*** OBC), but they charged me triple to install. RUNI acknowledged OBC installing the equipment. Phoenix took the installation fee from OBC off the RUNI bill, but RUNI demanded the entire amount. They threatened to put Phoenix into collections if they did not pay the $ 6,000+ demand. Phoenix is considering suing RUNI if they do not drop their demand. Mr. B also took the customer for himself from Phoenix.

I spoke to another company in Florida today who went through the same situation, and is also considering suing RUNI and Mr. B. Matt B is a one-man-show with barely any service network across the country. Except for OBC, there is nothing in the US for RUNI service except outside parties who barely know the machines. A service member from RUNI Denmark had to fly out to fix the Florida machine. Took forever. The Florida customer will never use RUNI again. I have heard this many times across the country from customers.

I am asking for total reimbursement of the installation fees from OBC ($ 5,900) plus lost travel fees from the cancellation of the install ($ 2,000) plus barring Matt B from contacting any of *** customers or leads that were given to RUNI.

RUNI Recycling Machinery, Inc.1472 Delashmut AvenueColumbus, OH 43212Tel. 614-600-7220Revdex.com1169 Dublin RoadColumbus, OH 43215Reference: Response
to Revdex.com complaint ID# *** from *** on 3/4/2020 – Service Issues

Dear Mr. ***,

RUNI Recycling Machinery, Inc. (RUNI, Inc.) a US-based
company affirms receipt on March 16, 2020 of the Revdex.com complaint ID# ***
that *** sent to Revdex.com on March 4, 2020. On Nov 14, 2020 RUNI, Inc. agreed to sell the
RUNI SK200 screw compactor to *** of *** for densifying
expanded polystyrene, EPS (aka Styrofoam to be recycled). To facilitate the sale of the RUNI SK200 screw
compactor RUNI, Inc. deviated from RUNI, Inc.’s standard stated terms (proposal
attached) requiring 90% deposit in advance prior to shipment and in good faith
agreed to *** special terms of 50% deposit prior to shipment and 50%
upon installation. RUNI, Inc. has
attached the most recent RUNI invoice to ***Phoenix as well as the
statement of account validating that RUNI, Inc. is owed the balance of what was
short-paid by ***/***RUNI, Inc. flatly denies the validity of the Revdex.com complaint
*** based on ‘the details of the matter provided’ by *** and most
importantly the statement that the “Complaint
Involves: Service Issues.” RUNI, Inc. sold *** the RUNI SK200 and
never provided any services to *** or *** other than selling
the machine, so any complaints regarding ‘Service Issues’ provided by RUNI,
Inc. for the RUNI machinery are completely false and not applicable. At no time during the sale of the
RUNI SK200 was discussion, request or any agreement about RUNI’s need for *** participation in the installation, nor was there any agreement for the RUNI’s
responsibility to bear any cost of the cancellation for *** travel should
RUNI need to reschedule the installation date. After RUNI sent the final invoice and customer statement attached
on Jan 27, 2020 on Feb 3 *** sent an email indicating the possibility that
RUNI would be sued and at that time *** stated:

‘A letter will be coming this month
from my lawyer to both Matt B and RUNI Danish Engineering. This letter will explain the two suits being
filed against Runi, and Matt B. All
communication after this email should be directed to my lawyer from this date
forward. No communications will be
accepted through email regarding the lawsuits.’

Prior and since receipt of that email RUNI, Inc. has been
trying to remedy the situation outside of legal means and has attached the
documen*** to *** sent Tuesday, February 25, 2020 to *** attorney ***. *** addressing the demands made by *** and
making concessions to *** with hopes to put the situation to rest. Since that time no response was made by Mr.
Warner concerning the concession letter sent Feb 25 and subsequent responses on
March 5 by *** expressed only the sentiment to sue and again on March 15
confirmed that *** has elected to file a lawsuit against RUNI. We would like to keep this attachment
confidential as well.Regarding Statement about RUNI customer in Florida

The statement about the RUNI customer in Florida has nothing
to do with *** or *** and should be removed from the
complaint if made public. The Florida
customer in question still has a RUNI from 2004 and just purchased another in
2019, so they are a repeat customer over the span of 15 years and RUNI has
saved that customer a lot of money on their waste. Furthermore, yesterday we have reached out to
the customer and already received and attached their statement regarding the
situation that we would like to remain confidential between RUNI and said
customer.

3/18/2020 - To date breakdown owed RUNI by ***proposal, invoice, customer
statement and payment documents attached):Cost of RUNI SK200: 22,010.40Freight of SK200: 2,200.00Dec 6 payment: -13,255.48Jan 21 payment: -4,823.13Balance owed RUNI: $6,131.79

In light of this situation when you see that *** sent
the check copy attached from his customer indicating payment on 50% of the
machine and the check shows over $18,200.00 USD. On one point he has already been paid more
than what he owes RUNI in almost that payment to him alone. If he sold the machine at $36,400.00 that is
over $14,400.00 over what would be considered a dealer list price or about $6,400.00
USD more than RUNI, Inc.’s retail, freight, customs and delivered price. *** should be reported to the Revdex.com for
his actions and malicious intent to both RUNI, Inc. in this false complaint and
his customer *** Inc. for price gouging. Please let me know any questions or concerns. I look forward to hearing this dispute is
resolved concerning the Revdex.com of Central Ohio.Best Regards, Matthew J. B *** RUNI Recycling Machinery, Inc.

Customer Response • Mar 19, 2020

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

RUNI has written false statements regarding all the installation details, and the pricing of our sale to the customer. Everything will be in the lawsuit being prepared by our lawyers. RUNI will have to defend these false statements in court.

Regards
