Hello,Let me first say I am sorry your service call was not completed on 08/01/2017.I see that you had a shorted control board and the tech may have thought it was the only defective part. When he first arrived the referigerator was completely dead except for interior lights. After finding the shorted
control he assumed this would repair the unit. This is a common repair and in most cases would have repaired the unit.He called me after seeing it would need a compressor in which I had this approved by AHS very quickly. It is true that at this time we have only one sealed system tech(we are training more).I am on vacation this week and was not in the officeWhen I was asked how to handle this I instructed the office staff to change techs routes and calls to make it possible to repair your unit timely.I am not making excuses for the delay and do appologize Jerry ***

I'm sorry but I have no control over any return trips.Ahs requires us to have you contact them.I hope the unit is working through out this process. Jerry

I do appreciate you getting a technician out here on Friday.  I also appreciate he was able to run and get another part the same day and come back and fix the fridge.  I called your office again today as the fridge is making a high pitch wine while it is running.  I was told the ticket was closed and that I would have to call AHS and open a new ticket.  This is very frustrating.  I am currently still on hold with AHS as their wait times daily are over 30 mins.  So I have to take time off work to sit on this call so I can get a new ticket opened to get one of your guys to come back out.

My original response is valid .I was contracted by [redacted] I have updated them on all Revdex.com complaints and reached out to them for assistance in this unusual service repair.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted]'s response is simply not true, nor has he ever been available to speak with. I pulled the call log for my phone and my wife's phone, just in case we missed some of the phone calls he claims they made to us. His staff has not informed him accurately of what has transpired. The machine was finally picked up on 12/15/2014. My original call for service to [redacted] was 11/17/2014. The machine was diagnosed and needed parts that were ordered the next day. The parts must have taken quite some time to get here. The machine was picked up, we were told 24-48 hours according to my wife and another adult who was here at the same time. After that time had come and gone, I called Runyon at 12:04 pm on 12/17/2014. I was told the machine would be delivered the next day, and that someone would call in the morning to schedule delivery. I cleared my schedule on Wednesday to be here Thursday. The phone call didn't come in Thursday, so I called Runyon at 10:35 am, according to phone logs. I asked to speak to the manager, and when informed that I was speaking to the manager, I asked to speak to the next level up, [redacted]. I was told he wasn't available, and that they wouldn't be able to deliver the machine that day due to: 1. no delivery person available and 2. it wasn't yet fixed. That is when I got [redacted] involved. [redacted] called at about 10:50 am, and [redacted] was available to him. He told [redacted], who called me back at 11:16, that the machine would be delivered Dec 19th. No delivery made, no phone call made to either number. This is not the story [redacted] has been told--I guarantee phone records do not support his story. No apology for blowing deadlines multiple times, no offer of reimbursement of my $75 paid to Runyon, per [redacted] contract, no 24-48 hours, no 1-3 days. No [redacted]. Then today, after complaining to Revdex.com, there are 3 calls made, a delivery guy shows up who WAS NOT scheduled, a phone call from [redacted]--Revdex.com gets stuff done. Bring the machine, my reimbursement, and an apology today by 3:00 pm and this will be settled.

I had the more frustrating experience ever with Runyon applliances, Phoenix. I have a 3 months old range which stove stopped working about a month ago. Runyon is the only authorized service provider for my area for this particular brand. The first challenge was to schedule an appointment as they are not very flexible to work with customer's schedules. I had to schedule 3 appointments with them. The first time they came in a diagnosis was made and a part was ordered. A week later the part is replaced and the oven is still not working. At that point I had no working oven for at least 3 weeks, and I use it a lot. I called trying to schedule the next appointment ASAP. Carmen, the secretary, was not helpful or understanding of a customer's frustration. We could not schedule the next appointment until after the technician would return to the office later that day or the next day. Around 4:30pm that day Carmen left me a voicemail. I returned her call around 4:45pm as I knew they closed at 5 and I was eager to get this taken care of. The phone rang several times before Carmen answered the phone asking if I could hold; I said "sure". I was on hold for at least 7 minutes and 5pm came. At that moment I just heard someone hanging up the phone on me! I called back the next day schedule the next appointment for a week later between 8-12 in the morning. The day of the appointment I called around 10:40am to double check on it. I was informed then that the appointment was from 11-2pm. That was not what I had been told previously but there was no arguing. I patiently waited for the technician not to show up. I called back and asked to speak with the manager, Mandy. She informed me that the technician forgot the part at the office and could not come back th a t day. After telling her about all my frustrating experience with her business she finally got me on the schedule for the next day. The technician came with the second part, and the oven still did not work. He had no idea what could be wrong with it. It was all a guessing game from the beginning. I am getting a brand new range with a working oven today. All in all this was a terrible experience and I would never recomend this business to anyone.

The technician sent to our home was unprofessional, rude, lazy, uncaring, and probably incompetent. Had he checked the heating element in the dryer during his first visit to our home, he would have determined then that the part was failing and needed to be replaced. Instead, he performed the bare minimum, charged us our home warranty deductible, and left without actually resolving the problem. Now, that he has been out AGAIN and has FINALLY determined the problem, we have to wait an additional two days for him to get the part, come back out a third time, and install the part. So, in essence, a family of five will have gone nearly 1.5 weeks without getting any laundry completed due to the poor work ethic of the technician assigned to our claim. Oh...and before leaving, the technician, who's name begins with a 'T' and ends with a 'y', copped an attitude with us when we advised how displeased we were with the services provided. Unacceptable. How on earth does the Revdex.com grade this company with an 'A'?

I had an appointment with Runyon to repair an appliance with a time to show of 1-4pm. I took half day off work to be here and I get a call at 2:40 to tell me the tech would not be showing. He had truck problems throughout the day that he could not get fixed. So instead of calling me in the morning when they knew they had a problem, I had to wait until 2:40 and was told they would be cancelling. When I asked about offering a discount or some sort of compensation for missing the appointment, they said no. When I asked to speak to a Mgr or Owner, the lady on the phone refused.

Extremely poor customer service - would not recommend!!

Runyon Appliance came out to service my dryer. They said a part that was ordered should take 3-5 days. It took 3 weeks for them to come out and repair. It was hard to get a real person live when I called. They came out to fix it on a Tuesday and the following Friday it was blowing cold air again. Upon contacting my warranty company, I requested specifically NOT to have Runyon come service my dryer again. A horrible experience.

Review: Runyon Appliance received the contract from [redacted] to fix our washing machine. I made the call to [redacted] Nov 17, 2014. I believe they accepted the contract the next day. After coming out to diagnose the problem, new parts were approved by [redacted] and ordered. After their delivery, a tech from Runyon came to fix our machine. He determined that he needed to take the machine with him, and told my wife it would be back in 24-48 hours. After 3 days, I called Runyon, at which time [redacted] (I think that's her name) told me the machine was not yet fixed, then that it was fixed, and that the owner, [redacted] was not available. It had been a month since we called for the repair by this time.

I called [redacted]. [redacted] took my call, said he needed to reach out to Runyon to find out what they're going to do. He spoke to the owner, [redacted], who told him we were scheduled to have our washer delivered the next day, December 19th. That day came and went, and today I called [redacted] and [redacted] said he needed to reach out to Runyon. I need to replace my washing machine--we have two babies in the house who need clean laundry. It has become a health issue--a woman took kids' laundry home yesterday to wash for us. I don't want our old washer back--I need to replace it immediately and I have no confidence in Runyon because they have told us several times they'll call and/or show up and have failed. We have changed our schedule for them, and still no call.

They have also cashed our $75 service fee check. They have failed to provide the service. This is a fraudulent business.Desired Settlement: I need to replace my machine. It is not an expensive machine, and from all appearances Runyon is very, very busy. I need reimbursement for our service fee, replacement fee plus tax and delivery.

My original response is valid .I was contracted by [redacted] I have updated them on all Revdex.com complaints and reached out to them for assistance in this unusual service repair.

The worst customer service experience with this business. It took over a week to look at my dryer and another week to order the dryer part. Then, they order the wrong dryer part and had to come back a third time. Over two weeks without a dryer and all due to poor leadership and customer service. Very poor customer service and hope this message help anyone to stay away from this business.

Took them a month to fix my dishwasher that's under warranty. Staff was rude and not helpful. Continued to make appointments for them to be canceled. When the mean technician came to finally fix the dishwasher he said it's my fault that it was broken. Walked in and out of my house through the wet grass tromping dirt into my house.

Runyon Appliance did a great job installing my new [redacted] washer and dryer. I ended up having a board for the dryer go bad within the first week and a few days later they returned and installed one for free under the manufacturers warranty. Their customer service was great and they arrived during they times they said they would.
