In response to her complaint She had some else bring the car in and he said no hurry, they wouldn't have the money to pick it up for at least week, so we did not start on it right away. He also added a couple of things to do, first was it wouldn't idle and the second was to install shift linkage...

bushings, the bushings he brought wouldn't fit so we replaced the old one with bolts and nuts ( we did these without extra charge). You can ask any certified mechanic about the starter, if we had broke it as pictured, it would not have started once especially not for a week afterwards. The not idling problem he asked us to check was timing chain tensioncr working erratically which will affect the engine timing and can cause the engine to buck the starter (it may have been a detective starter, Or the timing issue may have caused the engine to buck and break the starter).  All of the parts stores we deal with will warranty a starter when it breaks because it could have been defective from the rebuild factory. She can get it replaced for Free: As far as the weather strip goes it was hanging down from the bottom of the door when we pulled it in. We see this from time to time and didn't pay any attention to it.  They complained about it and he said he could fix so we have him a tube of weather strip adhesive. She called back later in such a frenzy, I couldn't reason with her. Rather than to argue I became frustrated and did hang up (for that I do apologize). If she will leave her car for a day I will glue her weather strip back on. (The adhesive has to be put on both pieces, let dry, then more adhesive to attach it and then let dry so, will need it for a day for it to hold.
