This letter is in response to a complaint against my businessID # *** In October of our office went thru a billing transitionWe now have a billing company, prior to this all accounts were handled in house and monthly statements were sent without any late fees or finance
charges In February patient contacted us regarding a statement sent from our billing companyPatient questioned the balance of $3994.71; this balance came from services rendered since September 24, to Date After reviewing the patients account which included verifying patient payments and payments from insurance companyAdjustments, if any were madeWe printed all work and presented to patient several timesPatient did come in and made a partial payment and as of today the patients Balance is $ 1,Several emails were sent back and forth in order to resolve this issue and patient still did not agree with the balance presented to him Patient states they were not given itemized chargesWe did print out several itemized transactions that showed what was done as well as all EOB’s received from insurance company and payments made by patientAll of that was given to patient twice in order for them to understand why they have a balance Thank you *** *** DDS CC: *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I Also received a copy of the letter in the mail today. We did receive an account history of Patient Transactions with a total of 3,973.40 dated 9/2/15 that is marked Insurance Check Payment. Also, have an Account History Report with a total of 1,163.10. The amount listed in the letter for $1,189.32 is probably with interest due which will be coming in the mail in the near future from FPC. FPC cannot even breakdown the previous balance provided to them, so how can they even bill? We have gone through all the submissions from the insurance company and there are several notes from them for incomplete documents. The Account History reflects credits but they are unable to be matched to the patient transactions, If the 1,163.10 can be itemized as to where the balances are, this could be reconciled. I am willing to send these two reports the dentist office provided.
