Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: This was a bait and switch operation from the start complete with threats and holding my property hostage with a roof completely removed and the interior open to the weather of March in Alaska! As to the statement, "Rus furnished a functional roof that would protect the structure from further water damage." I believe I can find a TARP that would "protect the structure" for a whole lot less than $18, Plus several local roofers have stated "this roof is not adequate for an Alaskan winter as there is NO insulation and will have to be redone And now I, a senior citizen on a fixed income, am being further threatened by a big time lawyer with loosing my home to this Rus Incshould NOT be allowed to own a business in the state of Alaska

March for which payment has yet to be receivedThe final invoiced cost to complete the project totaled $18,All work was completed by Rus in a professional and workmanlike manner in conformance with all local industry standardsThe work was inspected and approved by the Municipality of Anchorage and accepted by the complainantA copy of the municipal inspection report is attachedRus presented the complainant with its final itemized invoice requesting payment of the $9,balance due upon completion of the projectDespite demand having been made, the complainant has failed and/or refused to satisfy its payment obligation to RusRus expressly disputes any allegations of substandard workmanshipTo the extent the complainant's expectations on this project were not met, that may be due, at least in part, to the abhorrent condition that the home was in at the time Rus commenced work, with rotten wood and mold existing throughoutRus furnished the complainant with a functional roof that would protect the structure from further water damageThe complainant has no viable defense to payment and no documentation of any deficiencies with the roof system installed by Rus has been produced by complainant, despite request for such documentation having been made through this office on June 24, In fact, the complainant did not provide any form of response to my communicationWe have therefore concluded that complainant's claims have no meritRus has recorded a Claim of Lien against the complainant's property in the principal sum of $9,Rus is in the process of commencing legal action to foreclose on the Claim of Lien in accordance with AS To the extent the complainant wishes to assert her baseless allegations against Rus as a defense in that litigation, I am confident that the Alaska Superior Court will be more than capable to adjudicate those claimsShould the Revdex.com require any further response to this complaint from Rus, please direct your request to this officeSincerely, ROYCE & BRAIN

In response to the complaint filed March 19, we have the following information.Our company had showed some compaction for the ***'s when a quote was provided for services, with the poor living conditions, duct taped windows and young children living in the trailer home, Rus Inc was willing
to help and discount costs for this familyWe had discussed with *** *** that the standard windows that are sold would not fit the original window casing, and that we would purchase and replace standard industry windows in kitchen and living room*** *** agreed to the proposed work and signed a contract, both parties were aware that this was a contract for work and materials to be providedWe had a handyman subcontract to preform the work as follows remove old windows install new framing, new windows and trimIt was agreed that Mr*** would do the paint himself for JustineEverything was fine until we received a complaint for the work preformed, our company showed up to the residence to see what we could do to satisfy the situation and Mr*** escalated the situation and had a gun, he did not seem to be in a good mental stateAPD was called for the protection of all parties and when the court date came to address the issue Mr*** did not show up for his caseWe want to make sure the Revdex.com knows that no funds were ever exchanged on this project, our company is out the cost of materials and labor and a bad reputation from this customer

There has been no monies that have changed hands in this projectOur company provided labor and materials, and had alot of conflicts with Mr*** Our company is going chalk this up as a lossWe've been in business for many years and a member of the Revdex.comWe are closing this case and taking the bad debt of the home ownersThere will be no more responses to this complaintThank you for your time in the matter

I am rejecting this response because: I price checked everything on that job nothing was discounted all prices quoted for materials were much more than they cost 100 more for the small window and 200 more for the large window and I had only grabbed my gun after he had forced his way into my home and wouldn’t leave and threatened to cut out my windows and tow my home down the street. I never pointed it at him or even chambered a round. You can look him up anywhere and see pretty much only bad reviews. He has bad mouthed and threatened many other people I never agreed to finish his job for him. The windows now have bad water damage including my neighbor an [redacted] who after complaining and him coming out to check her windows they are still leaking water into her house. I already will have to pay a different contractor to redo this entire job and maybe have to pay for even further damage to my home due to the quality of this work. Look up his reviews on all media sources and read his comments towards the people who have had bad experiences. I will send pictures of the current condition from the inside. I didn’t even get to tell his employee what was wrong with the work before he very aggressively confronted me about my review of the work and tried to avoid the conflict by returning inside my home where he shoved my door open behind me and unlawfully entered my home and refused to leave until I had the police on the phone.
