I would not recommend High Voltage Solutionz, to other Prius owners. My original experience with the company was sub par. I found the company through some research and chose them because they offered the best price for a re-manufactured hybrid battery pack. I paid for their serviced online through paypal, and it took nearly 2 weeks for the technician to come and install the battery, when I was told it would take 5 days. The installation date kept getting pushed pack. Fast forward to 6 months, my battery fails and I have to get it replace. I called immediately when it happened, which occurred on a Saturday. I was unable to reach a service rep. So I called again on Monday, and was finally able to talk to a rep that told me it would be done before New years eve. I was skeptical but if it was true it would have been great. Called the following day to confirmed and the rep told me it would be Monday. I was a little frustrated, but from past experience I was happy it was being repaired in a "timely manner." Monday comes around and I have not heard from my technician so I call the company, and rep says that was strange and she would have my technician call me. The technician calls me and says he'll be here before noon tomorrow. I asked if he could come later in the afternoon after I got off work and he said he need to be at another site in TN. I agree to the time, I figured I just miss a couple hours of work the next day. It's the day of the installation and the technician didn't come until 2:15. I was upset, I missed an entire day of work. I'm not angry at the technician. I'm upset with the company. They seem to be terrible at scheduling their technicians. The experience I have with the technicians are fine, they are friendly and they do their job in about 30 mins. However, it seems like their schedules are loaded and the company isn't realistic about how long travel time and installation will take. This makes customer like myself frustrated when I'm quoted a certain time, and the actual time is hours later. I can't plan for someone coming hours later then was originally promised. Furthermore, their warranty is not great. You still have to pay 500 dollars for shipping and labor, which would be fine if the service wasn't so terrible. I am seriously considering selling my Prius because it is so much of a hassle to deal with this company and the constant fear that my battery will die.
