Phillip & Deborah, Please first, let me apologize that you were unsatisfied with our serviceI would like to address the issues you statedFirst, the evening you called to bring the vehicle back in, we already had previous work that would take us until closing to finish and we wouldn't of been able to look at it that eveningOur mechanic advised for you to drop off car or call the next morning for us to schedule you properly Also, if the fuel leak was caused by faulty installation or parts that we previously did, we would repair this at no cost to you You confirmed we told you this statement in your original complaint Because you took the vehicle to another repair facility and we were not able to remedy the situation in house, like you were advisedWe cannot issue a refund for this serviceWe also tried to contact you via phone and left a message to try to come to a solution, with no response as of now Thank you, Leanne M***Rusiniak's Service Inc

While we understand distance is factor from our repair facility, a phone call explaining this before the brake work was completed would have not allowed this predicament to occurWhen you returned to our facility asking for a refund, you told us it was for the brake pads with no mention of a caliper bolt being loose If the caliper bolt was loose it would have made a significant amount of noise from that side for a period of time before damage to the brake pads occurredIf a caliper bolt was found to be loose at the time you performed the brake service, that should have been a priority when you originally came to us Unfortunately, now that the work has been completed by yourself, and not an authorized repair facility, we cannot go back to address what the issue could have been As we stated before, in order for us to even consider any type of refund, we would need to see the vehicle to determine the underlying problemWe are very sorry if this policy does not satisfy you, but please understand without seeing the vehicle it is very difficult for us to remedy this situation Thank you

The patrons [redacted] was towed in due to the engine running poorlyIt was stalling, shaking & making pinging & popping noisesThe check engine light was on as well The check engine light was diagnosed as a faulty fuel injector, which would cause the engine to run poorly & not on all cylindersWe replaced the faulty fuel injectorAfter this the pinging & popping noises were gone & the engine was running smoothly on all cylinders After this was completed we were then able to hear a lower end rod knock noise in the engineLower end rod knock noises normally develop slowly over time, which led us to believe this noise was pre-existing When the car came in before the injector was replaced we were unable to hear this noise due to the other issues the engine was having Check engine light system & lower end rod knock are separate systemsA check engine light being on would not tell us there was a lower end rod knockAlso, there is no diagnostic equipment that would have told us prior to fuel injection repairs that there was an underlying rod knock issue This vehicle was properly diagnosedIts unfortunate there are multiple issues with the vehicle

We originally serviced this customers vehicle in March At that time the customer elected for an economy brake service which offers no warranty due to the less expensive parts that are used We provide this as one of our brake pricing options to customers We also attached the original invoice that documents *No warranty [redacted] next to the part description The customer then returned to us August 6th complaining his left rear brake pads worn out & damaged the brake rotor We explained the only way a brake pad would wear out in this situation that fast, is that there is a underlying condition causing this to occur A defective brake hose or brake caliper could cause this to happen, or both The customer then returned with defective parts that were already replacedThis did not allow us to look at the vehicle to assess the situationThe patron wanted the parts refunded double the original cost we charged We were never contacted before the repairs were made indicating there was any problem Even though a warranty would not apply in this case, we always stand by our workmanship & would check the vehicle for the customer The patron decided to perform the repairs himself, then demanded a refund In order for us to consider any refund, we would need to have the vehicle present in the original condition to assess the probable cause
