Scott and Rusmur floors have gone over and above to work this all out.I would definitely recommend Rusmur flooring to anyone who wants an honest hard working company to help guide you to your new floors.Thank you Ms . Review: Rusmur Floor sale associate [redacted] came to our residence to quote a job for puting hard wood floor in two rooms that were carpeted as well as refinishing the present wood in the entry way and kitchen. [redacted] assured us that the wood would match color with only slight deviation due to age of wood. The proposal [redacted]0282 of 2/11/15 was signed and an initial first-half payment of $5922.00 given to Rusmur. The work was tentatively scheduled for March, but was pushed back into late April by Rusmur. [redacted] stated that [redacted] (subcontractor) was going to handle the job, and stain 3 boards of ours so we could pick the color we wanted. Mr. [redacted]'s crew stated April 20th, and [redacted] was not here for more than several hours the first day, and an hour the next. When Mr. [redacted] asked us for the color, we stated Red Maghogeny but I asked if he was going to stain a board first to which Mr. [redacted] said no, and stated that the color on the sale's display board will be the color of the floor and left. Mr. [redacted] went out of town and left two other employees. The color was not the same, and wasn't uniform across all rooms. Also, there were swirl marks from the sanding in the floors. The toilet was removed on the 21st, and still remains off with open piping to sewer as of May5th. The crew stained the floor, but did not move the stove as listed in contract or tape plastic to the cabinets and counters which were left very dirty as well as the upstairs did not have any plastic which lead to thick dust there too. The worked stopped until Mr. [redacted] returned from a trip the following Sunday when he came to show a darker stain which wasn't and stated that if he brushed the stain on without wiping off it would be darker but may not be completely uniform. He brushed the stain on Monday, and it was sloppy and has many spots throughout all rooms. We had him stop again. Under the refrig wasnt done as well as stove. [redacted] and [redacted] came out that Thursday. From then we are awaiting a plan for correctionDesired Settlement: Fullfill all the "Scope of Work" as listed in the quote dated 2/11/15 with quote number [redacted]0282 including: staining test pieces prior total application of stain, uniform color including under all appliances, apply plastic covering all cabinets and counter tops prior to resanding, work done within a week as stated by [redacted]. Removing excess and sloppy stain on painted walls and all trim pieces. Discount off original pricing.

Review: I purchased a laminate floor last September and was installed last November. The floor is peeling all over. I have been in contact with the manager Scott, and he assures me that they are trying to get in touch with the manufacture. Well I started this the beginning of July and here we are in the middle of September and I have not gotten any answers. At this point, I would just like my money back and they can come take the floor. I can not believe that a business can just ignore a consumer like this. I would NEVER recommend this business.Desired Settlement: I would just like my money refunded and they can come remove the floor.

Review: I built a home with Ryan homes over 6 years ago. At our 1 year walk through I pointed out issues with our laminate floors. They are uneven, there are deep indents in some spots, and small pin marks throughout. After waiting quite some time[redacted] came out to take photos. He submitted them to Anderson, the maker of the floor, and we were approved for a new one. Finally! I was told by rusmur I had to wait for them to have a crew in Cleveland again. I have followed up too many times to count. I can never get someone to return a single call. I have been told over and over again this issue would be resolved. I am still waiting.Desired Settlement: I would like the new floor I was promised.

Ms. [redacted]’s floor was inspected and approved for warranty replacement by the manufacturer, Armstrong, in February of 2009. Rusmur Floors, although not responsible for the warranty replacement, was asked to facilitate the replacement as we were installing floor covering in Ohio at the time.

Rusmur Floors discontinued installations in Cleveland in 2011 and no longer operates in the state of Ohio. Armstrong continues to support their flooring for the full length of their warranties and uses local dealers to perform the installations coordinated through Ohio Valley Flooring, the Armstrong distributor who services the Cleveland area.

I have contacted Ohio Valley Flooring and provided them with the necessary information (which they had on file from the initial inspection in 2009). I expect to have a response from them within a week and will have them contact Ms. [redacted] to arrange for replacement.
