Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Since the driveway doesn't meet codes and has to be removed, I shouldn't have to cover what he did incorrectly in the first place The rest of the work he did on my patio, walkway and porch is also shoddy, discolored, cracks were not sealed properlyThey tried to level the walkway but when they couldn't they just left it with several blocks now to 1/inches off from each other, creating trip hazardsWhen I ask him to put it back the way it was, he said that he couldn'tI can try to figure out someway to fix most of this, however I can't fix a driveway I am a disabled veteran and had to take out a loan to make these repairs to my home I do not have the funds to pay him for shoddy work, just to then pay someone else to fix it Sincerely, [redacted]

This customer simply wants her driveway done for free. We are the fourth contractor that hat she has done this too. We offered her a refund for the cost of the driveway, the concrete, and to tear it out so she can have someone else pour a new driveway. As with any return for a refund you do not keep...

the product that you are dissatisfied with. If I refund her money then I paid for the concrete and it becomes my property and my right to take it out. Customer refuses to let me fix it or take it out. She is simply wanting to use the driveway but also get her money back. This is not the way things work. Customer is unhappy about brush lines when she ordered a broom finish not a smooth finish. Customer also still owes us $410.00 for work completed on the back patio. It will be our intent to lien her property if she does not pay the remaining balance.

Since the driveway doesn't meet codes and has to be removed, I shouldn't have to cover what he did incorrectly in the first place.  The rest of the work he did on my patio, walkway and porch is also shoddy, discolored, cracks were not sealed properly. They tried to level the walkway but when they couldn't they just left it with several blocks now 1 to 1 1/2 inches off from each other, creating trip hazards. When I ask him to put it back the way it was, he said that he couldn't. I can try to figure out someway to fix most of this,  however I can't fix a driveway.  I am a disabled veteran and had to take out a loan to make these repairs to my home.  I do not have the funds to pay him for shoddy work, just to then pay someone else to fix it.  Sincerely,[redacted]
