Russell Tire Company

Russell Tire Company dented the right side of my fender.We just had it replaced and painted. I got my tires balanced and came out with damage. On August 29, 2014, at approximately 0853 hours. I took my vehicle into Russell Tire Company to get my tires balanced. My vehicle had just recently had the right side fender replaced and the entire right side painted, also right front headlight replaced. My vehicle was properly inspected prior to leaving the [redacted] with no damages. But, upon arrival at Russell Tire Company I went in to get tires balanced and exited with damage to the newly damaged fender. After services were rendered I paid with my debit card and exited the premises jumped into my car not really looking it over after my tire balance was complete, because; I trusted them being I have been patronizing this company for many many years. I went directly home parked my vehicle under the carport until Saturday, on Saturday my fiance' observed the damage to the fender area. He was there to inspect the work from the [redacted] when we picked up my vehicle and stated, I needed to get my tire balanced. He knows a lot about cars. He stated, you went in to get the tires balanced and came out with a dent. That dent was not there when we left the [redacted]. After, observing the dent. I tried contacting them by phone late Saturday, but no one answered the phone and they have no answering machine. Being said that Monday was Labor Day, on Tuesday I made contact by phone and told him I was en route there, because one of his employees damaged my fender on Friday and what was going on, I returned to [redacted] Tire Company and let them see the damages and advised them that one of their two employees damaged my vehicle and they need to play the cameras back and see who did the damage which cameras are on the premises. One of the two employees damaged my vehicle. I want them to be held accountable for their actions. Because, the guilty person was already present in the area trying to plea his case. Of course, we were arguing back and forth getting no where because they were still fabricating their story when I arrived on the scene, because, I had discuss with him on the phone what happened. It is on tape of course they probably erased it. I JUST HAD THE RIGHT SIDE REPAIRED. They are not very HONEST people. You can clearly see that the right side has new paint on it. Desired SettlementI just want them to admit to it, because; my entire right side of my vehicle was repaired prior to going to Russell Tire Company. If all possible repair it like it was prior to getting my tires balance which was without damage to my fender!!!!!! Business Response The customer drove the vehicle into a bay to have 4 tires balanced and when completed the customer pulled the vehicle out and left. We received a phone call later claiming we had damaged the fender. We review the surveillance videos and we at Russell Tire feel in no way had we damaged the finder. The customer came back were we expressed our feeling of no wrong doing but in good faith gave info. on our insurance co. and offered to have the vehicle repaired at a body shop. The customer got the body shop quote and wanted us to pay them the customer not the body shop. The customer then want to get a 2nd quote which was higher than the 1st quote, again the customer then want us to pay them the amount of 1st quote and they would go to the body shop with higher quote and they would pay the difference. Russell Tire was willing to turn the matter it into the insurance co. or pay the body shop to have car repaired but we were not willing to customer directly. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No, but the case is closed. The adjuster came out and looked at the vehicle. I will not be returning to Russell Tires any more and will not refer anyone else there anymore. They should be glad I did not send the News Media to that location. The matter is over. No more business with THAT TIRE COMPANY!!!!!
