Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am reject and will continue to reject Mr [redacted] responses I have attached the receipt showing paid in fullEvery time I brought something to his attention he would come up with some accuseThe roof is solidThe decking is old and dry, Is the roof leakingYou didn't say anything, The materials are his and he will do what he pleases, He refuses to acknowledge the mold that you can clearly see in the photosThese are just excuse, Mr [redacted] continues to make excuses to avoid accepting the responsibility of his poor installation and poor judgment as a contractorI will attach a copy of the receipt showing paid in full and the contract as well as the receipts for the tires Regards, [redacted]

The text messages Mr [redacted] sent showed that we replaced all the rot that needed to be replacedThe pictures are from inside the attic on the back side of the deckThis area isn't visible from the top sideThe deck looks to have some staining from previous leaksWe had the roof open for one day with no rainPer Mr [redacted] , there is no leak in the roof and there was no rain while we were workingIm not sure where the mold issue came in but it isnt due to any of the work we did.The staining/mold was not visible from the top side and must have been from previous leaks and are not detrimental to the integrity of the roofIs the roof a bit spongy? YesThe decking is thin 3/8" decking that isn't used anymore because it doesn't hold up wellThe deck does hold a nail and other than being a little weak in spots is fine to hold the shingles and keep it water tightThe customer himself told me that he didn't have funds to cover any additional workHe couldn't cover removal of the existing slabHe stated he would do that himselfHe couldn't afford the deductible, the better shingle upgrade or the fascia work which he did himselfThe hole in his tire wasn't from any type of fastener we useThe only fasnters we removed or installed were from pneumatic guns using flat head 1/4" roofing nails and nails for replacing the rotten deck we replacedProof of that is in the photos of the nail heads Mr [redacted] providedThis looks like some kind of wire in the tireWe are not responsible for all punctures in tires just because we replaced a roof at the homeI told Mr [redacted] customer I would be happy to pay for the tire repair if he provided us the tire and or a receiptI still have yet to see eitherIt is unfortunate that Mr [redacted] fells the way he doesWe were trying to help him cover his roof and get him a nice cover for the allowance the insurance providedWe replaced several sheets of deck that were rotten FREE of charge because he told us that he couldn't afford itThe bottom line is that we honored our portion of the roof contract and installed him a roof the we will warrant for the term of yearsWe charged Mr [redacted] $5,for the roof plus the $in Paid when incurred items and his deductible of $1,Once we receive payment of his deductible of $(the deductible is clearly stated in the middle section of the contract labeled IMPORTANT and I quote " you the homeowner, understand that you are responsible for your deductible plus any upgrades not covered by your insurance." )and the $in PWI items we will honor his warranty and repair any items that are within reasonAs to the additional patio and concrete work we respectfully decline the opportunity to work with Mr [redacted] and consider the contracted closed
