Review: I hired Russ'z Upholstery to recover my front seats, install heaters in the front seats, and re-dye my steering wheel in my Ford Excursion, giving him a deposit of $500.00 on Aug. 22, 2013 and he ordered the leather and completed the job on October 18, 2013, after driving my Excursion 5 times, the leather on both front seats began to show signs of cracking and the areas were turning black. My steering wheel began to peel when I wiped it off using nothing but a damp cloth (No chemicals on it at all). I showed the vehicle to the owner, and was told that he would replace the leather on the front seats and re-dye the steering wheel and trim piece that was peeling off. It took many trips in to see him before he finally got it in to repair it, it was July 7, 2014 before it actually was allowed to be brought back in. [redacted] said that my vehicle would only take a few days to complete, however, my vehicle sat there from July 7th 2014 and after several promises of it being done, I actually was able to pick up my Excursion on September 25, 2014. When I got the vehicle home I noticed that my alarm was not working, and upon further inspection I found that in fact my bluetooth phone system had been taken out from under the dash, and my wiring was hanging down loosely where the electronics had been disconnected and have been removed from my vehicle, the top of my drivers door is all scratched and chipped where someone had apparently tried to break in to my vehicle, I drove the vehicle to an electronics repair place on Saturday the 27th of September to order new parts to replace what has been removed from my vehicle and after driving it only one time after picking it up, I notice that my seat is beginning to show black on the seating surface already. The stitching on the side of the seat is not following the contour of the seat, I believe that [redacted] did not replace the leather as he said he would do, I believe that he simply repainted it after having my vehicle sit in front of his shop for 81 day. I have placed two calls to Russ'z upholstery, and I left one message and as of this date, October 16, 2014, I still have not received any call back from [redacted] (Owner of Russ'z) concerning my vehicle.Desired Settlement: I really just want my money back, - the $160.00 that was for the heaters in the front seats, (I am not having any issues with them). I would like to take my vehicle to another shop to have the seats done properly.
