Rustic Trailer and RV Park

Review: I was a tennat at rustic trailer park living with my boyfriend of 15 yrs. We shared a one bedroomhouse paying 600.00 a month ; 200.00 of that was for my residency; for steve alone the rent was 400.00/month.My boyfriend died on july 8th 2015.our rent was paid up for the rest of the month.When I came home from work the day after he passed my lock on the front door had been replaced with an unfamiliar one to which I had no key. I went to the landlord/manager,[redacted] who lived next door ;she said she did not do it but knew who did . She wouldn't open the door ; on the contrary she threatened to call the sherrif to remove me from the property and then accused me of killing my boyfriend and screamed numerous threats and accusations at me whlle I walked back to my car in tears.I called the shasta county sherrifs dept and told them what had happened. He contacted [redacted] and my deceased boyfriends brother. The sherrif said that they told him I was not a tenant Since the rent was raised when I moved in they declared that I was indeed a tenant so the landlord was going to unlock my door for me to have access to my belongings especially when the rent was paid up for the remainder of july.When I got home their was someone in my house; His truck was parked in front of the landlord's trailer and when I entered my house he told me to get the *--- out. I turned around to leave because I was afraid of him and as I walked back to my car he put me in a headlock and bashed my head into my car door threatening myself and my family.I did not return; I was afraid for my son who lives less than a mile away; I work only a block from the house but no one made any attempts to give my belongings back to me. Everything I owned was inside the dwelling. I am mentally and physically sickened by this; I am homeless , broke and alone. Rustic Trailer Park has made my life unbearable after the death of my one and only love of my life; my partner, my friend and every memory I had in my home taken from me .Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for julys rent and all of my belongings coming to over 1,000 dollars plus pain and suffering and for all the lies and accusations against me. Free rent or a trailer to live in; I'dlike my belongings back; i'd like a public apology and i'd like to speak to the true owners of rustic trailer park or at least have thieir address and phone number so I can contact them and tell them of this cruel tragedy

I was the manager of the Rustic Trailer Park when this incident occurred. While I feel empathy for the complainant, there are numerous discrepancies in her statement. It should be noted that [redacted] had been a close long time friend of mine.The rent on the Cabin that [redacted] occupied was $500.00 per month. At no time did we receive more than the agreed rent.[redacted] was never an authorized Tenant, however she did stay occasionally at the apartment. We have documentation that [redacted] acknowledged she was not a tenant and understood she could or would not stay as more than a occasional guest.It is true that [redacted] passed away on June 8th, [redacted] was at a friends house and had collapsed. The friend called me and told me. I immediately left for his friends house. As I was leaving I saw Ms. [redacted] at [redacted]’s cabin, apparently [redacted] had borrowed her car. I told her [redacted] had collapsed and she came with me headed to his friends house. As we were on our way we saw the ambulance coming from his friends house. I was going to turn around and go to the hospital but [redacted] wanted to pick up her car, I dropped her off, but she never came to the hospital. I was at the hospital when [redacted] left us, Ms. [redacted] was not. When I arrived back at my office at the park I was shocked to see Ms. [redacted] and several others moving things out of the apartment, many of which were [redacted]’s belongings, after she hauled out at least one load, I did lock the apartment after observing this removal of belongs. I found it off that this was occurring as I font believe she knew he died.I was contacted by the Sherriff’s department and explained the situation to them. They indicated that the best thing to do was let her remove her belongings as her tenancy was in question and it would be better to allow her to retrieve her supposed property.I did remove the lock from the apartment. Due to the situation of [redacted]’s things being taken a very close friend of [redacted]’s came by (he had a key) and moved [redacted]’s things to a secure storage to allow for safeguarding and allow for proper notification of his family. As to her belongings, she had loaded her Explore with numerous items and clothing and [redacted]’s property. Keep in mind, her doing this did not happen a day or two later but with in few hours of [redacted]’s passing. If she was a tenant and concerned about staying in the cabin it seems odd she would have basically stolen things that belonged to [redacted] while taking her possessions.In regard to the confrontation with [redacted]’s friend as I understand there were witness to the event and if she was assaulted why didn’t she call the Sherriff. She did not hesitate to call them once her removal of items was impeded.[redacted] did have a relationship with Ms. [redacted], it was as I may describe as dysfunctional. Mr. [redacted] was well known and had many friends in the park. I believe if these accusations were thoroughly checked a different story would emerge.It is my position that the park, myself or others did nothing wrong concerning this situation.Sincerely[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because she is lyibgshe is lying. [redacted] came to my house and picked me up to go to where [redacted] was. . He had borrowed my car so when we got there I got iny car and raced home for presciption info the ambulence drivers asked for. As soon as I got the list of pills he was on I called the hospital and found I was too late.She also lied about the rent and if I wasnt a tenant how come the sherrifs got her to unlock the door for me to enter. There wete no witnessrs to the assault that happened when I came for my things. I have mail with my name on it at rustic trailer park.I was only gone 3 weeks in 2015 anf 6 weeks in 2014. Every year I work in humboldt county for harvest season.
