Rusty Knuckles Garage

On March 16th of 2019 I had my 1996 Chevrolet Impala ss towed from my house in Gonzales, Louisiana to a auto repair shop called Rusty knuckles Garage in Slidell ,Louisiana. I looked for a Transmission Rebuild among other repairs. I paid this shop in 4 payments in full hopefully that they would finished the job quickly and Professionally. It does not take someone almost a year to do a Transmission rebuild! His shop was pack with cars from other customers and only have 3 technicians under Mike B. Who is the Owner of the shop. Then the customer service was horrible. You would think after a customer paid for a job in full the Shop owner would answer the phone and let you know about the progress ,that did not happen . I had to take off 5 times to drive an hour from my house to see about my car and every time I go there he tells me that we were busy with other cars or we are waiting on a part for the transmission and gave me a fake deadline saying that the car would be ready at the end of the week which was not the case. Make a long story short , I sent My friend out to check on my car on my behalf and Mike B was telling her the same bt that my car will be ready at the end of the week. She replied we not going back and forth with that same line again give me a concrete deadline. He replied that the car would be ready on Saturday February 8th which was not the case. So he finally finished the car on Feb 11th . The car ran good but come to find out my check engine light was still on and when I bought my car to a Real Mechanic in Gonzales, he mentioned that my O2 sensor wires were crossed up when Rusty knuckles Garage was putting my rebuilt transmission back in my car. So that cost me another $bill over $200 dollars. Because Rusty Knuckles did not plug the wires back into the right place. I would not reccomend Rusty Knuckles Garage in Slidell, La to a single Soul!!!
