Their yard is tiny and they squeeze cars in their inches apart. As a result of this negligence they damaged the side and back bumper on the drivers side. They also park your vehicle in a ditch making you pay an additional fee to get it out. In addition everything in my car was sifted through and this was told to me by an employee.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I would like the damage caused by your negligence to be repaired. I want my bumper repaired and the scratches on the side of my vehicle repaired to the condition it was prior to your negligence. An estimation would be $300 dollars. I would be willing to consider a full refund of $145 dollars.

Vehicle was towed by the request of the Esc. Co. Sheriff Dept. because it was left parked halfway in the roadway. Anyone could have hit it before we towed it or when it was towed from my facility by Angelo's. The doors were not locked and could have been sifted through by the deputy or anyone while it was parked on Ashland Avenue. We don't go into anyone vehicle for any reason. Owner was in my office several time before the vehicle left my facility and nothing was said about any damage to his vehicle. It was not parked in a ditch, we don't have any ditches in our yard. He was just upset that he wanted it outside the yard and he had to push it out of the impound yard just in case Angelo's could not get here before we closed. Services were rendered. The charges are set by the county and towing is not free. Don't leave you vehicle in the roadway and it will not be towed. When Mr. left my facility everything was great and he even said he would call us if he ever needed anything towed.

On Sat. March 31 at 11.02 Rusty's Wrecker Service was called by a state trooper to pick my truck up after a automobile accident resulting in the truck being totaled. He requested 100.00 in cash to take the truck to my home. No credit or debit cards. I put the 100.00 in cash in his hand. He stood there with money in hand and argued with me why he should take the truck to their shop. Being shook up and hurting I finally agreed to let him take it to their shop. Later I was angry that I let him do that to me. I wanted the truck at my home because I wanted to have it checked out. When I put it in gear it just shot out resulting in hitting a boulder then a tree. I didn't even put my foot on the excelerator. After getting out of the hospital Monday evening April 2 2018 at 4:30 it was too late to get another wrecker service to pick the truck up from Rusty's and deliver to my home. Tuesday April 3 rd I had *** Wrecker service pick the truck up from Rusty's and deliver to my home. I could pay *** with my debit card. My bill from Rusty's on the 3rd was 223.00 cash only.'?? I feel when a customer asks to sent their vehicle to their home pays the 100,00 in cash that should be it period. No standing there augering with the customer, especially when the customer in pain.
Now with all the other things I have to deal with I had to deal with them again, spend my time and money to have my truck delivered to my home as it should have been in the beginning. I think Rusty's should refund me that 123.00. Of course this does not cover the time, money and inconvenience it caused me while I am in pain. ***

Yes, on 3-31-18 we were call by the FHP to tow the truck from an accident. Towing charges are regulated by the FHP which is $100.00 for tows, we don't take debit or credit cards and are not required to. We only take cash. The FHP trooper was the one explaining (not arguing) to them that it would be better to let the vehicle go to our facility and then let the insurance company take care of the vehicle and charges. Mrs. is the only owner of this vehicle. Mr. came to the shop on 4-2-18 wanting to remove the battery and other items off the vehicle which is not allowed because he is not a registered owner. We do not let anyone that is not the owner in the vehicle or remove items. He was very upset arguing and began cussing at me so I ask him to leave and bring Mrs. back. Mr. apparently called the FHP lieutenant complaining. Because I received a call from FHP Lieutenant and told me my side of the story to why Mr. was not allowed to remove item from vehicle. Apparently is why they submitted a complaint with the Revdex.com. The FHP regulates our charges and we following them. Mrs. was not charged anything different than any other person. Mrs. was not able to get anyone to tow her vehicle until 4-3-18 and was charges appropriate fees and given an itemized tow receipt which can be turned in to her insurance company for reimbursement. I am sorry she is in pain and feels she has been wronged. Feel free to contact me is more information is needed.

Thanks

Customer Response • May 02, 2018

I didn't have trouble getting a tow truck until 4-3-2018 my health came first. The first company I called couldn't go on their property to get the truck. The second one could go on their property My main complaint to begin with was after he said it would be 100.00 in CASH, no CHRCK and no CREDIT CARD. (Most people are not carrying 100.00 cash on them.) We gave him the 100.00 in cash. He has this 100.00 in his hand and instead on saying ok where do you live, he stands there and insist on taking it to his shop. I should have said I want another tow truck , forgetting in this situation I have the right to do that. They should never stand and argure with a customer when they tell him in the first place where they want it towed. I have to deal with the insurance company any way. Other wise why would I take the time and energy to complain? I have much better things to do with my time. That is my complaint period!!! Then I have to go to the trouble to get another tow company to go pick it up and bring it to my house as what I had requested Rust's to do in the first place Why in the world would the TROOPER CARE? He is the one that should have said the customer wants it towed to her house, so tow it to her house. The only one to PROFIT. is RUSTY'T !!! So this may teach them a lesson and do as the customer asks not what will profit the company. In the end it will come back to bite you. I would never recommend them to anyone. ***

I'm sorry you feel the way you do. But I secured you vehicle and stored it at my facility for 4 days. Therefore you accrued additional charges.
