Review: I found [redacted] on Y[redacted]. He showed up on time to give us a quote on drywalling and painting 4 rooms (2 bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and bathroom). The work progressed on time, and we decided to hire him to paint the rooms and skim coat a hallway. I only ever received a quote for the drywall. I was out of town, and [redacted] wanted to start painting before I could return to approve the drywall. I agreed, since I liked what I had seen. This is where the problems started, when I returned home, it was clear that some of the jobs were done very quickly and cheaply. Several wired outlet boxes and lights had been covered with drywall and then painted over. A week or so later, they came back and cut them all out and repainted as well. I was asked for more money because the paint we chose was more "expensive." Given that the paint was we wanted, we obliged. At this point, [redacted] requested payment, as the job was "done" in their eyes. However, we had serious problems will the skimcoat on the hallway. It was VERY uneven with lots of bubbles and elbow marks in the finish, paint was splattered on the ceiling, and the "2 coats" didn't cover very well at all. [redacted] pushed back for payment, but eventually came to inspect the work in the hallway. It became clear that he had not seen work that it had been done. They had to return 3 times to fix problems, and actually cover the walls in paint. At this point we were more than 6 weeks into the project. The crew also missed drywalling a window completely, but at this point it was clear it was not going to happen. The dry wall in the bathroom in the was hung so when we went to install our bathroom vanity, the there was an 1" gap between the top of the vanity in the wall. We had to pay a different contractor to mud the wall to fit the vanity correctly. Touching up the paint in one of the rooms with the extra gallon left, we found it was cheaper "color matched" alternative that didn't match the paint on our walls.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed $1000 to cover our expenses of

1) Re-painting the master bedroom, as [redacted]s crew used paint that was not we had asked for OR PAID FOR, but a cheaper "color matched" alternative.

2) Re-paining the trim in the hallway to cover the drips of wall paint that was all over.

3) Having to mud our bathroom wall over the drywall to properly fit the vanity.

4) Reimburse us the cost of the more expensive paint, which was obviously not used.
