I had nice grass when I started service in April 2014. Now it is August 2014 and I have lots of weeds and dirt patches from them killing my lawn. I had a manager come out and offered to do the same thing for weeds they have already done multiple times with no results. I would not recommend using Trugreen

I gave TruGreen a new lawn in June of this year 2015 to help maintain and improve our lawn with their premium "TruComplete" plan. I have cut and watered the lawn and It is now almost the end of October and our lawn is in worse condition than when they started. The lawn has yet to look as good when they started and I expected it to look better..There are numerous bare spots that just keep getting larger, and although there seems to be less weeds, there are still weeds though out the lawn. The items I was most concerned about before signing up with them was weeds, crabgrass and bare spots. I was told that the lawn and tree applications would take care of most of these along with aeration and seeding in September. They have just now scheduled my aeration here the end of October after I gave them a bad survey on their website and still have not had the lime application. I found out when I called them today that their technician was scheduled to be at our home today to aerate. I asked when they would arrive since it was already 11AM and I was told that they could not reach the technician, but he would call me to advise, it is now 1:30PM and still have not see a tech nor received a call. I had requested when I signed up, that when any visit was scheduled that they give me a courtesy call to my cell number and that was never done for any visit. I was left a note once that they could not do a lawn application because our dog was outside in our backyard, that would have not occurred if they had called the number as I requested, to let me know they would be out. Their applications are spayed liquid and not granule Just really horrible service in all areas, presales promises, product, service and customer service. I do not recommend this company.

delay in responding delay and failure of reparlack of professionalismignorance and ruthlessTwo years ago we asked Rutland Nurseries to buld an island on our property. Subsequently a wrong evergreen tree was planted.Next year some shrubs died. After many calls and 6 months of waiting they came back with a new tree and new shrubs. The already planted tree was nice and big but they assured me that they were going to dig it up and plant that tree somewhere else. What they did was outrageous. They cut that evergreen ,left roots and on top of taht a new tree was planted ,of center and deformed.Old tree they left it on the sidewalk entire afternoon. We called many times for an explanation.Wew also wanted have that tree to be exchange and plant properly.Entire year they have been saying that they would come up and never did.We called an owner whose behavior was inappropriate and not professional. I would like to advice costumers to stay away from Rutland Nurseries. They are looking for easy mMoney. The owner is very nonprofessional and [redacted] person.Be very vigilant with that business ,so called.Desired SettlementWe would like to have that tree replace for a bigger one and roots to be removed after an old one.The job has to be done properly .Also there are still some dead shrubs left. That has to be exchange. We would like to have an owner to apologize to us.Business Response In October of 2013 Rutland Nurseries did a landscape project for Ms. [redacted]. When the planting was done, the wrong variety of evergreen tree was planted. At the time, Rutland Nurseries was winding down the season and did not have the correct variety of tree in stock to replace the one that was planted in error. In the spring of 2014, Ms. [redacted] contacted Rutland Nurseries and requested that the tree, as well as some other plants that did not survive, be replaced under warranty. It is our policy to do replacements of plant material after July 4th. 2014 year presented some challenges which put us behind with our replacements.September 9, 2014 a crew replaced the dead plant material and the incorrect tree. Unfortunately, due to an internal miscommunication, the wrong size tree was sent. Due to the size of the root ball of the existing tree, the crew chose to cut it down and replant beside it.When Ms. [redacted] called and reported the error, we put a work order in place to procure the correct tree, dig out the roots of the original tree and install the correct tree in the correct location. Due to the digging schedules of our growers, it took a little time to line up a delivery of the correct tree. When we finally had an order come in with the correct tree in November, we immediately replaced the incorrect tree and remulched the area that had been disturbed. As for the customer's desired resolution, we have replaced the tree with the correct variety and size and cleaned up the planting area. The customer must have been happy with the end result as she decorated the tree for the holidays.
