Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: There are inaccuracy's in their responseAt no time did I mention anything about keeping the cost downThere isn't anything in his emails showing thatHe's making it sound as though I was asking him to NOT do things because of the expenseNot trueAlso, this statement is not accurate at all. ("I informed *** * in
the beginning that if we excavated his water line he would most likely
need professional landscaping to get his yard back to the pristine
condition it was in.") This next statement was after the factIt came when I complained.("I informed *** * that we would do everything in
our power to make his yard look as good as we could, but that we are
plumbers that specialize in plumbing, and not landscaping.") Second of all, by the time he got back to me about his landscaper, it was too late for me to do anything about it because the HOA wanted the damage repaired ASAPI have not asked for him to do anything about the concrete work, as he alluded that I didThe fact that he told me they are not landscapers, I agree withHowever, as the basis of my complaint, Item #in the contract calls for them to fill and tamp down to original grade and the pictures clearly show that they did not do that.As far as me being an angry customer, all I wanted was for then to fulfill their contractual obligations#17 was not fulfilled

***,
This email is in response to claim number ***. Please refer to the attached documents for review
*** *** called our company on September 25th 2014. He requested a water heater replacement for the next business day. He then sent us photographs of the existing water heater, and the surrounding area via email. In those pictures you can clearly see old rust stains on the existing floor, and that the floor is not new. These pictures were forwarded to my supplier for availability and pricing.
The new water heater was installed and paid for on September 26th 2014. The total for the installation was $1,850.00. We re-used the existing water heater pan that was on-site because the pan was in good shape, and did not need to be replaced. There was never any mention of any flood, or issues on the job when we completed the work. *** *** simply paid his bill, and we discarded the old water heater at a scrap yard
We then heard from *** *** on January 7th almost months later stating that we had “multiple plug blow-outs” during our water heater installation, which doesn’t make any sense. There are no plugs on a water heater, just connections for piping and a temperature pressure relief valve for safety. None of these would cause a flood during the installation because there is no water pressure on the system during installation. We are trained to leave the water heater temp at no more than degrees upon departure
*** *** then sent us photographs of damaged wood flooring on February 3rd. This flooring does not match the flooring that was shown in the photos from September 25th . *** *** claims to have installed the new flooring approxa week prior to the installation of the water heater.
I read his emails, and sent an internal email to my dispatch asking them to follow up with *** *** and his claims. We called and left several messages with no response.
We then received a complaint with the Revdex.com about this job in August approxmonths after he ignored our phone calls
We are requesting a receipt for the flooring installed a week prior to us installing the water heater. We would like to know why our office was never notified at the time of the flood, and why *** *** waited months to contact us about any issues from September. We would like to know why he never returned any of our phone calls when we tried to respond to the claim in January. We would like to know why he is asking for $3850.00. That is more than double the installation amount for the water heater.
After review of complaint #*** we have decided to decline *** ***’s request for a reimbursement in the sum of $3,850.00. We feel that his claim is false
Respectfully,
Shawn C***
