RV Connection Reviews (1)

Review: we signed a purchase order with rv connection auburn on 06-07-2014. told them we would be going through our financial institution to make the purchase and couldn't get back up to auburn before 06-13-2014. he said that was fine. on 6-10-2014, we called him to let him know we would be up there to give him the money for it. he told us he would not hold it for us and if we were not up there in a couple days, he was selling it and hung up. I am very upset because we had been looking for the right RV for 2 years and thought this was the one. the business we received was very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: when someone signs a purchase order it must state they will not hold the product for the customer. giving the buyer the knowledge upfront what they are not willing to do for the customer!!!!....the customer needs to know they (the customer) are not important to rv connection.

Business

Response:

Our company had taken the rv off the market for 10 days to allow the customer to secure their funds. They were funded and indicated that they wouldn't be able to pick it up for another 11 days. When I indicated that I wasn't willing to take it off the market for that additional amount of time Mr. Butler said it didn't look like we wanted to do business and he would return the check to the lender and see to it that his father didn't do business with us as well. [redacted] his wife left a voice message with threats of legal action which is all ok. Simply this. They expected me to hold the unit for 3 weeks without a penny down payment. We don't operate our business under these terms and especially when were dealing with hot heads making threats.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

he broke our agreement after knowing we had the money for him. he would not accept a down payment to hold the RV when we looked at it.

of course we were upset. we really wanted this RV and he knew this, but living out of town, he expected us to be up there within two business days or he would put it back up on the market.

its not the point that we are losing out on this RV now, its the point on how rude his customer service to us was. we didnt make threats until after he broke the agreement. putting us under the pressure to repond

when he wanted us to repond.

while in the bank to get the loan he called my phone yelling at me about the title. he would not give up the title to EECU until he had money in hand and how can they expect the bank to do business like that. I told him why was he complaining to me. that was between EECU and himself. he said he would not do business with us if we expected him to do this. we didnt make the decission to ask for the title first. that was EECU and thier policies. he preceed to be rude to our loan officer Michelle at EECU about the matter after he talked to me.

after we left EECU with a check to give to him, that is when he decided to be rude to my husband fred and tell him he would not be holding it for us.

Business

Response:

The letter we received with [redacted]s response was full of distorted, twisted and outright lies. They turned out not to be the kind of customers we choose to do business with anyway.
