toward an air-conditioning job we did for a *** * ***They had contacted us in June of this year and told us that they needed to get out of town in the near future and they could not find anyone to come out to take care of their issue and the dealerships were booked up far in advanceThey had two out of three air-conditioners that we're not working the gentleman or husband explained that he works all day and needed to come home to a comfortable motorhomeI spoke with *** and she told me that she had a extended warranty with *** *** *** *** *** that is the company that I personally do not do business with for paymentI explain to her that I was willing to do the job if she was willing to pay us out of pocket and I would submit the claim for her and then the insurance company could pay herI sent my tech out to do a service call and we found that one of the air-conditioners had a broken fan blade for the blower motorThe other air-conditioner was pulling low amps meaning that the air conditioner was needing to be replaced the compressor was not kicking on under no pretense did we ever tell them that the fan blade broke the second air-conditioner and tore up the compressor or condenser they obviously were confusedIf we were trying to rip them off we would've told them that they needed two air conditioners instead we explain to them that for a $part we could fix the first one replacing the fan blade unfortunately that part was two weeks out we needed it fixed immediately I explain to them that I could get the part next day aired for an additional or $he told me to go ahead and get it the second air conditioner which is a *** has an AC heat pump it was $the parts cost us $another $for shipping there was tax and a service call in an hour and a half of our labor for a total of $We came out to do the job a few days later the husband asked us if we would be able to let him go up with our latter so he could wash his skylightsWe told him that would be OK while Scott was on top of the roof trying to do this air-conditioning repairs he was up there working on his skylights they had some small talk about where they were from they both were from a similar area in California and I think politics was mentioned at that point the conversation got quite the gentleman decided that he was going to interfere with Scott's job by putting screws in something that was not finished Scott asked him to leave it alone so that he could do his job properly the husband got off the rough came down the ladder and told me while I was standing next to the ambulance that Scott was lucky he didn't throw Scott off the roofI actually thought he was kidding Scott finished his job lowered the old air conditioner down off the roof and then as we were trying to put the tools away the husband got in Scott's face right in his face and and told him that he has never been talked to in all his years like that and that he had no right talking to him that way and he threatened to kick his ***He tried his best to start a fight with my techwhen my tech is threatened with personal harm by a obviously disturbed individual it's time that we get out of thereI've never had anybody threaten us before and I don't anticipate it ever happening again we were friendly and courteous we did our best to get the job done professionally we diagnosed it properly and we left both air-conditioners workingUnder no pretense did we do anything wrong or dishonest or cuss him out we were 100% professional and I walked into the unit collected the $that they owed us is a balance the husband demanded that we put the old air conditioner in a shed, Scott said we're not doing anything else for these people because of how they threatened us and we drove away without incident we were going to call the police but we didn't feel that would do anybody any good but yes Scott Life was threatened by a very short tempered miserable sad man who obviously has other issues going on, we try not to judge people for their issues we try to deal with them fairly but obviously he couldn't see things straight to treat us like professionals that we werethere was absolutely nothing that he could tell us that was not wrong with the air-conditioner we replaced it was faulty it did not work and it needed replaced he's claiming that there was nothing wrong with it that is impossible there's no way that that unit was fineAnd On top of that he claims that the unit we put on failedthat is possible but very much not probableI don't see how it could've failed it's a brand new *** air conditioner it was installed properly I think he was just trying to pick a fight and as far as the insurance company goes they paid the claim that they saw fit we gave them an accurate bill I told her to call and discuss with them about getting paidthey we're not gonna pay shipping for another part to come soon that was on them not usWe did exactly what we promised we would do in the time we promise to do itwe came through and help them and we saved the day and were treated like crap because of it I felt taken advantage of and I felt very miss treated and we never been treated that way by anybody especially a customer that we are taking care of professionallyI truly hope that this properly clears up any misunderstandingThanks again for your timeI know that if you were to look into mr ***'s criminal
