Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appearThe fact is that RV Financing USA was acting as a dealerTheir paperwork submitted to the DMV even has them listed as a "Dealer" that is what caused this whole thing and caused me to originally be charged sales taxThey are NOT a dealerThis was private party sale and no dealers were ever involvedAnd had the let the DMV know that they were JUST a middle man for the finance company, the DMV would have given them the proper instructionsThey told me that " the laws are changing all the time and that this how they used to do it"That particular law has been in place for TEN yearsI told them many times and I writing that they were wrong and that's what was causing the problemsThey just kept telling me I was wrongBottom line is this, they act as a DEALER and they are notTheir paperwork even says dealer on itHad I NOT know this and how the Nevada registration works, I would have been charged $1,roughly in taxes I shouldn't had paidI am sure that have sold other loans in Nevada and Arizona were the borrower purchased from a private party and was not aware they were not supposed to pay sales taxBut due to this company acting as a dealer the DMV thought they were supposed to charge sales taxI'm sure an audit of these loans in these two states would show thatThey are doing business in states that they do NOT know the laws and how to do businessThis company caused me many problems and stress over this ordealAnd now, I have actually moved and was not able to get my title before I left the state of NevadaSo now, I have to try and get a movement permit from ArizonaThen drive back to Naevavd and get my trailer that I have not been able to use for monthsOw because of themThen I have to start this whole process over in the state of ArizonaThey have caused me expenses and lots of time that should not have been necessary [redacted] stated in an email to me that I should be happy that they are helping clear this up for free!!! I should be happy they are helping me clear up their misteke that have cost me much time and moneyAnd just because they refunded the $fee doesn't meant they weren't paidThey were paid from the loan company and warranty company as well!! This is very very upsetting how I was treated from this company and its senior executivesNow I have to spend more money to go get my RV and finish this process! Regards, [redacted] ***

Hello Mr [redacted] ,We understand how frustrated you must be and are working very hard to get your registration completed as quickly as possibleWe have completed all of the necessary documents in order to complete transfer of ownership and sent your packet via UPS one dayThe delay in getting your titlework to the designated office you requested was in large part due to our inability to reach them to confirm the fees and documents they would need to complete the transferWe tried contacting this particular office numerous times through email and phone callsThey did finally get back in touch with me yesterday for the amount of fees it will be in order to transfer the title into your nameI just checked the tracking and it arrived at [redacted] Service this morning at 10:AMHere is your tracking number for reference: [redacted] Also here is the number and the address for the tag agency it was delivered to: [redacted] We are also attaching the documents sent to the tag office so that you can show that it has been applied for if you are pulled over

We have decided to go ahead and give him a refund of $

We work very hard to make the title and registration process as smooth as possibleWe are sorry your title and registration process has been so frustratingWe do business in Nevada all the time and we always act according to the instructions of your state DMVUnfortunately, in this case the DMV
representative gave us incorrect instructions and when the documents we sent arrived at your DMV, they rejected themWe have no control over the actions of your state DMV and we act in accordance to their instructionWe did not lose your title, the state of Nevada sent the title to our old address, which made it take longer to be forwarded to our new addressThe title arrived in our office the day after your complaint and was sent out to you yesterdayRegarding the taxes and fees, our lenders require us to ensure that taxes and fees are held in escrow until the title has been transferred and the lien has been placedWe never hold any customer funds after the title has been transferred and depending on the lender will refund the remaining amount after transfer directly to you or as a credit to your loan We do appreciate your business and will continue to assist you in getting it transferred as soon as possibleAs a courtesy, we also refunded you our $fee prior to your complaint

Mr. [redacted],We understand your frustration with the time it has taken to complete your registration. We have attempted in vain to get your registration done more quickly. We also understand the inconvenience caused by this delay and your inability to move the RV because you do not have your...

registration yet. We did indeed send out your registration to ** back in November, however ** rejected the packet because they would not accept a blank check with instructions to put the total amount on it made payable to them, despite them telling us over the phone that they would accept it. To make matters worse we did not receive notice from your local authority that this was rejected until this month.Because we value you as a customer and to expedite the process, we hired a local agent to physically walk in your transaction on your behalf yesterday and make any necessary corrections on your behalf in person and to ensure you were express overnighted your registration upon completion. Your registration is out for delivery today. The tracking number is [redacted] The total amount spent from your escrow was $4554.46. We are sending you a check for the remaining $534.00 in your escrow that was not paid to **. We thank you again for your business and apologize for the inconvenience.
